It has been more than a decade since the first edition of Peter Koestenbaum's landmark book "Leadership: The Inner Side of Greatness" was published. Since that time world events have caused a dramatic shift in how we think about our lives and our work. Now we grapple with the fundamental questions. How can we live a courageous life and manage anxiety? Is it possible to reach greater heights of ethics and responsibility?

Peter Koestenbaum, the preeminent business philosopher, has been a trusted mentor to business leaders worldwide. In this thoroughly revised edition of his classic book he shares his wisdom about the fundamental nature of leadership and shows what it takes to become an exceptional and passionate leader in today's complex world. At the very heart of the book is his Leadership Diamond model--a paradigm that challenges managers to transform their thinking and approach everything with fresh effectiveness in order to reap richer results and become great leaders.

The Paris Lectures (Paperback, Softcover reprint of the original 1st ed. 1998): Edmund Husserl The Paris Lectures (Paperback, Softcover reprint of the original 1st ed. 1998)
Edmund Husserl; Translated by P. Koestenbaum, Steven J. Bartlett

The present translation is based on the German original, which has been edited by Professor S. Strasser and published. in Husse1' liana-Edmund H usserl, Gesammelte We1'ke. A uj Grund des N ach lasses ve1'ojjentlicht vom Husse1'l-Archiv (Louvain) unlet' Leitung vonH. L. Van Breda, vol. I (The Hague: Martinus Nijhoff, 1950), pages 3-39. Both my translation of the Paris Lectures and the Introductory Essay had been completed before the appearance of two sub stantial scholarly achievements: Dorion Cairns' faithful trans lation of Husserl's difficult Cartesianische Meditationen and Herbert Spiegelberg's detailed and comprehensive two-volume work, The Phenomenological Movement. I have since collated most carefully Professor Cairns' translation with my own in those passages which are similar in the German of the Carte sianische Meditationen and the Pariser Vorlriige. As a result I was able to make several useful changes. Also, I have incorporated some material which had been unavailable to me prior to the publication of Professor Spiegelberg's work. However, I did not have the benefit of Dorion Cairns' Guide /0'1' Reading Busserl, which, at this writing, is not yet available in print. I would like to express my gratitude to the publishers as well as to Dr. Herman Leo Van Breda, Rudolf Boehm, and to the Husserl Archives for their patience, encouragement, help, and suggestions.
