Carbon Nanotubes haben seit ihrer Entdeckung ein grosses Interesse in der internationalen Forschungslandschaft hervorgerufen. Grund hierfur sind die aussergewohnlichen physikalischen Eigenschaften, wie zum Beispiel die hohe mechanische Festigkeit, die hohe elektrische Leitfahigkeit oder die hohe Warmeleitfahigkeit. Um CNTs jedoch in makroskopischen Produkten nutzen zu konnen, mussen CNTs vereinzelt und homogen in Losemitteln und letztendlich in Polymeren dispergiert werden. Diese Dispergierung stellt heutzutage einen der schwierigsten Verfahrensschritte bei der Verarbeitung von Carbon Nanotubes dar. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, dieses Dispergierverhalten von Carbon Nanotubes systematisch zu untersuchen und die Einflussgrossen zur Herstellung optimierter sowohl wassriger als auch losemittelbasierter Dispersionen zu bewerten. Aus diesen Dispersionen wurden dann sowohl reine CNT-Membranen als auch Polymer-Komposit-Membranen entwickelt und charakterisiert. Die gewonnenen Ergebnisse konnen genutzt werden, um den "bottleneck" der schlechten Dispergierbarkeit von Carbon Nanotubes teilweise zu beseitigen."
