I had been told that the Bengal still possesses the kind of intelligence originally native to cats but systematically bred out of most domestic breeds, so I shouldnt have been surprised that my Bengal cat Leopardo would be so smart. But I wasnt prepared for a cat that insisted in sitting in a chair at the dinner table like a person, turning lights and appliances on and off, opening and closing doors, raising and lowering ventian blinds, flushing the toilets, and even saying a few words. Because I scolded him so often, he now calls me "No." Like his ancestor, the wild Asian Leopard cat, Leopardo is still an arboreal, aquatic cat that can easily jump seven feet straight up and loves to play in the water. This book is filled with pictures and descriptions of Leopardos clever antics. For a series of excerpts from the book and sample pictures, see "http: //www.leopardodagotcha.com" www.LeopardoDaGotcha.com
