"The Little Lambs and the Very Special Mission" was written for and dedicated to the memory of the 20 precious children of Sandy Hook Elementary School and their 6 heroic teachers. The story was given to the author during her prayers for the victims shortly after the tragedy. This gentle, sweet, loving story gave her great comfort, and she was compelled to write and draw what she saw and felt. In this story, God asks a field full sweet, playful little lambs to help Him with a very important mission. He tells them that the people of Earth have forgotten to be loving and kind to each other. God needs their help to remind the people of Earth how much He loves them. With the little lambs' help, the world becomes a better place. All of the author's profits from the sale of this book go to the Newtown/Sandy Hook "Angels in Charge" Scholarship Fund that benefits graduating seniors from the Newtown School District who plan to pursue a career in elementary education.
