Es ist ein fundierter Uberblick uber die mannigfachen Stilwandlungen in der Dekoration und im Mobiliar des 18. Jahrhunderts, den Richard Graul hier prasentiert. Graul beginnt hierzu mit einer Einfuhrung in die Innendekoration Frankreichs zwischen 1660 und 1745, bevor er den Bogen zum Klassizismus im Frankreich des 19. Jahrhunderts schlagt.
