Meanwhile, Spearman and Witch party up for the first time, thanks to Guild Girl's introduction, and set out to take down a warlock-only to find an even deadlier creature waiting for them! The two of them venture into the nest to exterminate the goblins, where they soon discover that this horde is being led by a kind of goblin more dangerous than any Goblin Slayer has seen before... Meanwhile, after Heavy Warrior collapses due to overwork, Young Warrior's party is sent to investigate the source of the recent frequent, disruptive earthquakes in his place, but the answer they find is something they never could have imagined...!!

When Goblin Slayer and Arc Mage continue their goblin research with a dissection of one they killed in the ruins, they discover something new about the creatures. Rookie Warrior also heads into an abandoned mine with a party of inexperienced but fearless adventurers, attempting to master his weakness, but what will he do when they come under attack from yet another new threat?!

After protecting a village from a horde of goblins, a certain young man has been called "Goblin Slayer" for the first time. One day, while slaughtering yet another group of goblins, he finds a ring that glows with a mysterious light, which he has appraised by an eccentric magician who lives outside town known as Arc Mage. She, in turn, requests his help in compiling a bestiary for the Guild. He is put in charge of the section on-of course, goblins. With a single ring, and a single light, a brand-new story begins.
