Der Band untersucht im sozialen Alltag wirksame Mikropolitiken des interethnischen Austauschs und der ethnischen Grenzziehung. Neben grundlegenden theoretischen Uberlegungen prasentieren die Beitrage ethnographische Fallstudien, die sich mit deutsch-turkischen Gruppenbeziehungen und -konflikten in zwei wesentlichen Integrationsarenen beschaftigen: im Fussballmilieu und im Sozialraum urbaner Nachbarschaften."
