been published in journals and books worldwide.
The Sun Ships & Other Poems is a collection of speculative and
weird poetry by New England author Steven Withrow that plays with
the tropes and narrative strategies of science fiction, fantasy,
and horror stories. The title poem was nominated for a 2016
Rhysling Award from the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry
Association. His poems appear in Dreams & Nightmares, Spectral
Realms, Eye to the Telescope, and Epitaphs: The Journal of the New
England Horror Writers. He lives in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
A Poem Is a Chameleon is a collection of 39 short poems for
children that feature natural forces, plants, and animals. Steven
Withrow is a poet, storyteller, teacher, and journalist from
Falmouth, Massachusetts. Bloomsbury published his first children's
poetry collection, It's Not My Fault, in 2016 (with Roger Stevens).
His poems appear in journals and anthologies worldwide including
The National Geographic Book of Nature Poetry, The Horn Book, and
One Minute Till Bedtime. He produced the documentary film Library
of the Early Mind: A grown-up look at children's literature (with
Edward J. Delaney).
