Angele (Nathalie Baye) has been working at a beauty parlour for
years, and has become a confidante to her clients. Outside of her
job, however, she avoids close relationships, preferring the thrill
of one-night stands. When long-time admirer Antoine (Samuel Le
Bihan) reveals his love for her, she begins to succumb, but matters
are complicated when one of her customers pours her heart out about
her boyfriend - who happens to be Angele's new lover!
Microcars enjoyed a period of popularity during the twenty years
following the end of the Second World War. While larger motor
manufacturers struggled with the difficulty of resuming production,
despite the handicap of raw material shortages, microcar makers
adopted, adapted and exploited the technological advances
accelerated by the demands of a world in conflict, each designer
giving full rein to his individual flair. In his first book, Tony
Marshall explored the weird and wonderful world of microcars, using
period archive material, adverts and modern photographs to capture
some of the successes and failures - most of which are now entirely
forgotten. For More Microcars, Tony has uncovered a completely new
selection of cars, from Britain, Germany, the Netherlands,
Australia and America: Heinkel, Trojan, Nobel, Fuldamobil, Frisky,
Lightburn, Berkeley, Peel, Trident, AC, Gordon, Pashley, Dornier,
Zundapp, Brutsch, Shelter, King Midget and Crosley. Entertaining
and informative, More Microcars is an amusing and informative read
for every motoring enthusiast.
Can a prototypical process involving literature reviews,
interviews, questionnaires, design charrettes, and advanced
computer visualization tools, be applied to create golf facilities
valid to the subjects involved in the process? The research
attempts to create a prototypical process by exploring and applying
various research schemes that attempts to solve a selected design
issue. Thus, the issue selected: How can the golf course be
designed to attract, accommodate, and educate today's youth? The
research focused on using data collection methods inclusive to:
literature reviews, interviews, questionnaires, and design
charrettes. As an addendum to this prototypical process, these
methods of data collection were validated through computer
visualization. The preceding methods, along with the basic ideals
of youths in golf, were the main focus in researching golf course
design catered to the youth. The results of this research could
potentially serve as an addendum to junior golf development, and
also act as a resource for future designers, by assisting to
acquire user needs and demands for buildings, interiors,
landscapes, and products all over the world.
