The currently available Tamiya Putty (Basic Type) has long been praised by modellers for its high quality and ease of use. However, it's gray color sometimes made painting over it with a lighter color difficult. Tamiya now provides modellers with a white-colored putty to solve this problem. Useful for filling holes and seam lines, this versatile putty can be used on plastic, wood, or metal, and can also be diluted with lacquer thinner for a wide range of applications. Each aluminum tube contains 32 grams of putty.

Mark Fit enables perfect decal applications. It softens decals so they can easily fit to uneven, rounded, and matt finish surfaces of plastic models while increasing adhesion. The bottle’s cap comes with a convenient brush. 1 bottle contains 40ml.

≪How to use≫

1. Apply Mark Fit to the model where decal is applied.
2. Place decal on the model.
3. Position decal by an wetting finger.
4. Press decal down gently with a soft cloth or cotton swab until excess water is gone.
5. Apply Mark Fit over the decal, then press down gently with a soft cloth or cotton swab.
6. Allow the decal to completely dry.

Mark Fit is a special solvent designed to soften your model decals which will allow you to apply them onto difficult to apply areas such as bumpy and curved surfaces. This “strong” version has a more powerful formula for softening decals compared to the standard version. The Strong version help decals adhere and conform to difficult curved surfaces or matte-painted surfaces. In addition, it could also help speed up the decal application process. The Bottle cap comes with brush applicator and contains 40ml of solvent.

Note: May cause damage to painted surface in some cases, particularly surfaces painted with acrylic paints.

Q : Will the Light-Curing Putty be cured under UV light?
A : No. The putty will be cured when exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light. So it does not require any special lighting device. It is not recommended to use any light device that generates high heat such as an incandescent lamp because it may cause air bubbles in the putty.

Q : Is it possible to apply the Light-Curing Putty thickly?
A : Yes. However, it is best to do this in separate layers. Apply the putty in layers of 2mm thickness, this makes sure the light can penetrate through to the bottom. By applying another 2mm layer of putty after the under layer has dried, you can obtain your desired thickness. Different types of putty can also be applied over the top of a layer of Light-Curing Putty.

Q : Will the Light-Curing Putty cure under standard room lights?
A : The Light-Curing Putty will not cure quickly under an indirect light source such as standard room lights. When working with the putty, avoid direct sunlight and turn off any lights focused on your working area. It is not recommended to cure the putty under room lights alone as the putty may not cure completely.

Q : What's the best way to store the Light-Curing Putty?
A : After once opening the tube, tighten the cap and store the tube in the light shielding bag (included with putty). Then store in a cool shaded area.

Q : Does the Light-Curing Putty affix to the surface securely?
A : Consisting of a smooth paste property, the putty easily affixes to most surfaces. To ensure the putty fixes securely, it is recommended to rough-up the surface in advance using sand paper (#180-#400).

Q : How hard will the Light-Curing Putty become after curing?
A : The putty retains a smooth finish even after completely drying, ensuring easy workability. It will harden slightly softer than usual plastic (polystyrene) parts.

Q : Any other cautions?
A : After the Light-Curing Putty dries, the surface may become slightly greasy. It can be easily removed by wiping off using a soft cloth moistened with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner with, or sanding down using Tamiya Finishing Abrasives.

Masking is a job which modellers of all kinds in every scale must carry out, and it requires precision in order to ensure that your creation gets the perfect paint job. This masking tape helps in the process, allowing smooth and secure masking-off of curved lines where standard masking tape would sustain creases and possibly let paint seep underneath. At 12mm it becomes the widest in the Tamiya range, and is great for covering larger areas in one large sweep. This tape is also available in 3 other widths to meet a variety of needs such as 2mm, 3mm and 5mm respectively.

This is Tamiya decal adhesive. It is perfect for giving adhesive power to decals which have sat too long in water and lost their stickiness or become prone to "silvering," when the clear face of the decals whitens.
