Fleur Designer’s Paint Verdigris contains tiny copper particles that oxidize when you apply the specific Reagent. Verdigris is the common name for a green pigment obtained through the application of acetic acid to copper plates or the natural patina formed when copper, brass or bronze is weathered and exposed to air or seawater over a period of time.

The result of these products is a real verdigris coating, which can be more or less homogeneous according to the type of application (roller, brush, sea sponge, etc.). This iridescent gold acrylic gesso by Daniel Smith provides a lustrous metallic ground for oil and acrylic artists.
