Nintendo characters and games. If you touch your Wii U GamePad’s NFC

chip will be transferred into the game and used in a range of ways. As
you play, your figure’s data will also be updated, so keep playing to
make your amiibo unique!
See your amiibo battle and watch it grow
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U you can transfer the data from your
amiibo so it can appear in the game and fight for you. As your amiibo
fights, it will develop its own unique attributes and skills, becoming
stronger and learning new moves. You can even add your own twist to
combat by customising special moves!
Connect to a wide range of games!
In addition to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, you’ll be able to use
amiibo in a number of other games – and how they’re used depends on the
game! In the future, figures of a wide variety of characters from
different franchises will be released.
Also compatible with Nintendo and 2DS
As well as working with Wii U, amiibo can also be used with Nintendo
and 2DS via an accessory that is planned for release in 2015.
Details about compatible software planned for Nintendo will be
announced in the future.
Bowser's beloved
Spoiled son sports a bandana with a large mouth drawn on it, likely an
effort to appear more menacing. Like his father, Bowser Jr. longs to
take Mario down, and he always seems to have new tricks up his sleeve.
He often fights from inside his heavily armed Junior Clown Car.

Yoshis come in all sorts of colors, but Mario’s close buddy debuted in
green. Kind-hearted, naturally protective of others, and perpetually
hungry, Yoshi™ is always up for adventure…especially if there are
snacks involved. Yoshis can flutter their legs to jump incredibly high.
They also have extremely long tongues that they use to snare fruit and
even enemies—anything they swallow gets turned into throwable eggs.
