Some men are daily dying; some die when they have learned how to
live; and some find their truest account in revealing the mysteries
of both life and death, as is most wonderfully done in this
remarkable volume presented to the reader, even while they
themselves perish in the act of revelation. The author presents the
reader with a somewhat curious yet suggestive and thought provoking
work.

Rudolf Steiner systematically cultivated methods of spiritual
vision and research, enabling him to investigate the course of
earthly and human evolution. Steiner described how the thoughts and
actions of the hierarchies of spiritual beings are discernible in
the dimensions of soul and spirit. Under certain conditions, it is
possible for an initiate who has developed special capacities to
grasp what these beings are actively preparing for the future. This
was achieved especially by St. John in his Book of Revelation and,
similarly, by Rudolf Steiner throughout his many years of spiritual
research and teaching. Richard Seddon gathered the essence of
hundreds of lectures to create this broad overview of the future
for humanity and the Earth. His fascinating survey takes us from
the present time through the sixth and seventh ages, or future
epochs, and the Jupiter, Venus, and Vulcan stages of Earth. The
author also discusses the respiritualization of the Earth's layers
and the solar system, which was not mentioned by Steiner but
illumines events in the Apocalypse and the eventual transforming of
evil to good. At the core of this process is the gradual
development of Christ forces, which determine the future of
individuals and all of evolution. C O N T E N T S Preface 1.

T. Lobsang Rampa was preordained to be a Tibetan priest, a sign from the stars that could not be ignored. When he left his wealthy home to enter the monastery, his heart was filled with trepidation, with only a slight knowledge of the rigorous spiritual training and physical ordeal that awaited him . . . . This is his story, a hauntingly beautiful and deeply inspiring journey of awakening within Chakpori Lamasery, the temple of Tibetan medicine. It is a moving tale of passage through the mystic arts of astral projection, crystal gazing, aura deciphering, meditation, and more, a spiritual guide of enlightenment and discovery through the opening of the all-powerful, the all-knowing . . . . Precognition is the scientific name for the knowledge or perception
of the future, obtained through extrasensory means. Often called
'premonition', precognition is the most frequently reported of all
extrasensory perception (ESP) experiences, occurring most often in
dreams. It may also occur spontaneously in waking visions, auditory
hallucinations, flashing thoughts entering the mind, the sense of
"knowing" and physiological changes. Combining science and
practice, Theresa and Dr Julia unravel the mystery of precognition.
The book will cover: What precognition is and the different types,
clearly explaining the cutting-edge science, including what is
known and what is still a mystery The most common premonitions that
people experience and why, including examples from around the world
Experimental tools to help you cultivate precognition experiences
to help get useful information for your life Case studies included
throughout, with supporting scientific evidence offered alongside
to provide validation and explanation Personal experiences of the
authors, detailing how premonition has shaped their lives and
interviews with leading scientists and experts in the field

Knowledge and Insight from a World Apart from Our Own Resurrection
is the first book in the groundbreaking new Manifestation Trilogy
from renowned channel Paul Selig. Selig's unique gift is to channel
the voice of the Guides, otherworldly beings of great wisdom and
tremendous spiritual insight. Resurrection is composed of their
raw, unedited words, as spoken by Paul. In it, he shares the new
manifestation of humanity, a vision of alteration and elevation
that will shift how we think and move through the world. Building
on the success of his Beyond the Known series, this new trilogy
will give readers a glimpse into the spiritual underpinnings that
govern the world we live in. Resurrection is an astonishing
invitation to rethink, reconstruct, and rebirth our world view in a
transcendent way.
Telepathy, thought transference, unconscious communication. While
some important early psychological theorists such as William James,
Frederic W. H. Myers and Sigmund Freud all agreed that the
phenomenon exists, their theoretical approaches to it were very
different. James's and Myers's interpretations of and experimental
investigations into telepathy or thought transference were an
inextricable part of their psychical researches. Freud's insistence
on the reality of thought transference had nothing to do with
psychical research or paranormal phenomena, which he largely
repudiated. Thought transference for Freud was located in a theory
of the unconscious that was radically different from the subliminal
mind embraced by James and Myers. Today thought transference is
most commonly described as unconscious communication but was
largely ignored by subsequent generations of psychoanalysts until
most recently. Nonetheless, the recognition of unconscious
communication has persisted as a subterranean, quasi-spiritual
presence in psychoanalysis to this day. As psychoanalysis becomes
more interested in unconscious communication and develops theories
of loosely boundaried subjectivities that open up to transcendent
dimensions of reality, it begins to assume the features of a
religious psychology. Thus, a fuller understanding of how
unconscious communication resonates with mystical overtones may be
more deeply clarified, articulated and elaborated in contemporary
psychoanalysis in an explicit dialogue with psychoanalytically
literate scholars of religion. In Legacies of the Occult Marsha
Aileen Hewitt argues that some of the leading theorists of
unconscious communication represent a 'mystical turn' that is
infused with both a spirituality and a revitalized interest in
paranormal experience that is far closer to James and Myers than to
Freud.

Two controversial authors debate the nature and methods of science,
its dogmas, and its future. Rupert Sheldrake argues that science
needs to free itself from materialist dogma while Michael Shermer
contends that science, properly conceived, is a materialistic
enterprise; for science to look beyond materialist explanations is
to betray science and engage in superstition. Issues discussed
include: materialism and its role in science, whether belief in God
is compatible with a scientific perspective, and parapsychology.
Michael Shermer is Editor-in-Chief of "Skeptic "magazine and the
author of numerous books including "Skeptic."Rupert Sheldrake is a
biologist and author of ten books including his most recent,
"Science Set Free," which challenges scientific dogma.
