Our polymer clay has a firm consistency becoming soft and pliable when kneaded. This insures a high level of structural stability making our clay suitable for beginners, amateur crafters and professional artists.

Conditioning Dala Polymer Clay - Begin by rolling it back and forth in your hands. This motion will cause the clay to warm up and the edges to smooth out. Once the clay feels warm roll it into a ball and then a snake. Repeat this step until the clay is fully pliable.

Baking Dala Polymer Clay - The clay is baked in a standard household oven at 130c for 30 to 40 minutes. Pieces thicker the 6mm should be baked for a longer duration. Please be advised that due the variations in ovens you should bake test a piece beforehand.

Storing Dala Polymer Clay - Store our polymer clay in the original packaging at room temperature, out of direct sunlight or other sources of heat. Alternatively be wrap in Aluminum foil or stored in PE bag. Protect it from dust and avoid contact with Polystyrene or PVC.

Made from tiny particles of mica, mica powders provide a pearly, metallic look without metal. Mica powders are non-toxic and color fast, with a neutral pH, and though you wouldn't want to purposefully inhale them, they are less dangerous than metal pulvers. Available in a wide array of colors, mica powders have numerous uses for polymer clay artists as well as those who work in other media. They can be applied dry to the surface of raw clay, mixed into raw clay, painted onto raw or cured clay (though most will have to be mixed into a moist medium, first), and so on. Most surface applications will need a coat of polymer clay-friendly finish to prevent the powders from gradually rubbing off.

FIMO leather-effect oven-hardening modelling clay can be shaped and worked in a similar way to FIMO soft. After hardening the clay looks and feels similar to leather, and you can feel the effect when you're kneading it. Unlike other oven-hardening types of FIMO, FIMO leather‑effect is hardened for 30 minutes at 130° C / 266° F.

After hardening, thinly-rolled sheets are flexible and bendable and can be cut with scissors, punched or sewn. This clay is therefore ideal for making unique jewellery pieces such as earrings, necklaces or bracelets. FIMO leather-effect is also great for making wonderful leather effect decorations for your home.
