Da Vinci Professional Brush Soap (100g): Da Vinci Professional Brush Soap (100g)
R216 Discovery Miles 2 160 Ships in 7 - 14 working days

A special soap based on pure vegetable oils with a citrus scent. For cleaning and maintaining brushes of natural hair, bristles, or synthetic fibres. Rectangular bar in a cardboard box.

Da Vinci All Natural Brush Soap with Conditioner cleans and maintains the brush head.

Brush hairs, bristles and synthetic fibres should be cleaned with a gentle but cleansing soap and warm water until the soap begins to produce white lather. You shouldn’t use a strong fat removing soap. Da Vinci brush soap is based on vegetable oils which clean and maintain the brush fibres. Natural hairs especially tend to break if they are missing their protective fat content. Using a gentle soap with conditioners will prolong the life as well as the suppleness of your brushes.

Afterwards wipe the brush with a fine piece of cloth and bring it to its original shape. Artists call this procedure “dressing”.Let the brush dry completely before you use it again. Don’t put it on the radiator to dry. There the hair will dry too quickly, the handle will shrink, and the brush head will come loose.

The Lascaux Brush Cleaner is a water-based product which achieves its results through surface-active substances. The product contains no solvents, phosphates, acids or caustic alkalis and is biologically degradable.Lascaux Brush Cleaner is extremely economical: it is usually diluted with water in a 1:1 mixture or used in a weak solution of as little as 3% (30ml of Lascaux Brush Cleaner to 1 litre of water). Undiluted application is only necessary for heavily encrusted deposits of old paint.
