This is the second in a series of books about life after the death
of my marriage. Much of it is fictional but it is based on personal
experience. I moved to Southern Spain with my daughter in August
2006 when we overcame many challenges and flourished like oranges
on the trees during wintertime. Life continued to change in
unexpected ways during 2007/8. There was laughter and tears,
tragedy and farce. The financial crisis that had dogged many
worldwide began to affect us. Nonetheless it seemed there was room
for optimism. Money was tight but the sun greeted us every day with
a smile and gave us hope for the future. Even in the face of
adversity anything seemed possible.
