Young Nopinki finds her life in a turmoil just after falling in love with a guy she believed to be her soulmate. She is innocent and oblivious of the ominous catastrophe that lay ahead. Being a young, beautiful South African woman and born free, she has every hope and aspiration to enjoy the fruits of the much conferred democracy in her country. She thinks she has absolute freedom of choice and that under the same democracy, her rights will be protected, but her father has sinister plans about her. She hopes for a better life and more, but all her hopes and aspirations didn’t come to fruition, and everything was put to an abrupt end, sparking widespread unrest in her beloved township.
