The James Stuart Archive is by now well known to historians,
ethnographers, anthropologists and researchers working in allied
disciplines. In this third volume the editors present a further 28
documents compiled from material in the James Stuart Collection of
the Killie Campbell Africana Library in Durban. It carries the
sequence of informants from Mbokodo to Mpatshana, and brings to 99
the number of informants whose statements have so far been
published in the series.
