Review This Product

Loved the Astral Traveller and other stories.

Sun, 1 Jul 2018 | Review by: Jenny K.

This is a perfect book for bedtime. The stories are the right length to read before nodding off and the message from each tale follows one in to sleep. As I have this book on Kindle I would love to win a paperback version.

My review

Mon, 2 Jul 2018 | Review by: Barbara W.

David Michie is one of my favourite authors, and this book of short stories is up there with his best. These quick reads for busy people, inspire and at the same time, invite reflection.

Bed Time Stories

Mon, 2 Jul 2018 | Review by: Lynda R.

My favourite go-to book when I can't sleep! Love the stories. Would love a signed hard copy for next to my bed for the next sleepless episode. Regards. Lynda

Thought-proving reading

Mon, 2 Jul 2018 | Review by: Making Space

I'm not generally a fan of short stories, but I love these. Long enough to engross but short enough that one can read an entire story each night before going to bed. And as always, beautifully written, and in a way that makes the message accessible without being ponderous.

Next best thing to Dalai Lama's Cat

Mon, 2 Jul 2018 | Review by: Penny S.

Judging from a couple of stories I have read from this book, it deserves as many accolades as the Dalai Lama's Cat did - and the best part is that the forward to the book is written by said cat herself. The stories tie into Mindfulness meditation and Buddhist philosophy. Their length allows one to take a break and read an entire story, or drift off to sleep having just indulged oneself. What really resonated with me is that the. protagonist in one of the stories bears the same name as me - Penny - and we seem to have a few other commonalities as well. I can't wait to acquire a physical copy of the book and read all the stories, one by one, moment by moment, mindfully. Thank you to author David Richie for yet another masterpiece!

Easy reading 

Sat, 14 Jul 2018 | Review by: Sandra Lynne D.

Quick and easy introductions to the characters. Deep, yet lighthearted story telling. Loved the feel-good feelings. Would definitely recommend for the "obscure" readers.
