Lino cutting is a relief printmaking process. The desired design is
cut in reverse into the surface of the block with lino cutting
tools. Once this process is complete, ink is applied to the raised
(that is, uncut) areas of the block using a roller/brayer. The
design can then be printed in a press or burnished by hand. This
Lino Cutting set includes four Flexcut blades of different shapes
and an interchangeable handle. To maintain these tools in good
condition, the set also includes an eleven-pocket tool-bag, a strop
and a polishing compound.
