As a golf professional of more years experience than I care to
remember, I have no hesitation in saying that Dr Murray's second
golf book does indeed warrant the title 'More Golf Secrets.' The
author has given the reader the benefit of his long experience of
the game by approaching the subject in this book in the same
analytical manner as he did the swing and golf fallcies in 'The
Golf Secret.' I have never seen the grip and the stance so
perfectly and completely described. Ball spin and its effects are
fascinating and instructive. Putting, the stymie and the chip shot
- the all-important "short game" - are admirably described with a
view to rolling three shots into two. Shots from the rough, uneven
lies and bunker shots are made to appear almost desirable for the
pleasure they give, and the mathematics of them are intriguing and
convincing. Wind and rain no longer seem to matter. The skillful
analyses of the various golf factors provide much information that
is entirely new. This book is a must for every golfer-duffer or
pro. Algy Easterbrook, Golf Professional
