This book is for any young person who has struggled to make good
choices or do the right thing when challenged by negative
influences. This book is also for parents who drop off their
children and immediately wonder, Will my child make the right
decisions when I'm not around? The short stories within these pages
begin with a pertinent Bible scripture and include questions
designed to help young people analyze their own actions. In
addition, every story concludes with easy-to-understand tips to
equip readers with the knowledge or "shield" necessary to protect
them from the world's challenges. Awarded Horizon's 2005 National
Clinician of the Year, Jeff Chapman has enjoyed a lengthy career as
a licensed therapist. During that time he has provided therapy for
many young people and their families. Jeff is very active in
missions, focusing on projects designed to assist children in
third-world countries. Jeff and his family attend Fellowship Bible
Church in Conway, Arkansas.
