Ricky is clever, there's no doubting that, but he's lazy and
selfish, always looking for the easy way to the big score. Instead
of making his parents proud, he throws in his medical degree and
takes up grifting, along with his good friend Dunk. Dunk isn't the
sharpest tool in the box, but he's got a heart of gold. After a
stint in Wormwood Scrubs, Ricky decides he needs to do something
more with his life, and moves to London with this in mind. A chance
encounter with his doppelganger gives him a brilliant, terrible
idea; why not become someone else? The life of a top-class
psychiatrist seems like winning to Ricky. Manoeuvring himself into
place looks like the hard part, but once he manages to obtain his
new life, Ricky finds that somehow he remains unsatisfied, and that
maintaining his new persona might be more difficult than getting
there in the first place. Who could have known that being someone
else would teach him so much about himself?
