These three novellas all develop the common theme of man's/woman's
ability to be tested in light of the most written about conflict in
literature, man against man. With three settings (the days of
knights, the old West, and modern times) a central protagonist
overcomes greed, temptation, avarice, and self to come to a
realization that "I," "ME," and "MY," can never accomplish what
otherness can. Man's way never works!
