Decent Media Player

It's a pretty good media player, and with some software tweaks, it could be great. I've tested DSTV Now, Supersport and Showmax on it, and it works as expected, with no problems whatsoever. The included remote works well enough, but you'll need either a wireless keyboard, or a USB keyboard, in order to do any text input, as the remote does not handle that very well at all. I've tried H.265 playback as well through Plex, and this worked pretty well too. Overall, I'm pretty impressed so far!

Downloads does not work

The streaming and air mouse works as expected. I bought one of these boxes after confirming with the manufacturer that ShowMax downloads for later viewing is possible - IT DOES NOT WORK. It downloads the file (using pretty expensive data in my case), verifies the download and then only play a few seconds of the file. The other problem is that the version of Android/NetFlix does not support downloads either.

I returned mine

There is better media players on the market than this one for little bit more than the special price. Air mouse is really not good. Feels slow. Luckily my mouse sometimes did not respond so i could return without a penalty. Go and read some revues before you buy this one.
