Southern rolling stock, provides the very first completely
comprehensive record of individual Southern wagons in colour. The
vehicles themselves are seen of course in BR days, but it is rare
to find a record such a this, with informative captions from such
an authoritative author. Considering the Southern Railway ceased to
exist as an independent company over 60 years ago, this is a
