Contra-Indications:

Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. Antihypertensive medicines: Theoretically, concomitant use of theanine might potentiate the activity of antihypertensive medication. Bisphosphonates: Magnesium can decrease bisphosphonate absorption. Individuals should separate doses of magnesium and these doses by at least 2 hours. Calcium channel blockers: Magnesium inhibits calcium entry into smooth muscle cells and may therefore have additive effects with calcium channel blockers. Clozapine: Glycine can worsen symptoms when given with clozapine in individuals suffering with schizophrenia. Potassium sparing diuretics: They also have magnesium sparing properties, which can counteract the magnesium losses associated with loop and thiazide diuretics. Theoretically, increased magnesium levels could result from concomitant use of potassium-sparing diuretics and magnesium supplements. Quinolone antibiotics: Magnesium can decrease quinolone absorption. Individuals should take magnesium at least 2 hours before, or 4 hours after quinolone antibiotics. Stimulant medicines: Theoretically, theanine may decrease the effects of stimulant medicines such as caffeine. Tetracycline antibiotics: Magnesium can decrease tetracycline antibiotic absorption. Individuals should take magnesium at least 2 hours before, or 4 hours after tetracycline antibiotics.

Adults: Dissolve 1 sachet into approximately 100ml water at bed-time. Consume within 24 hours of mixing. This drink is sugar-free and will not promote dental caries. You do not have to brush your teeth after drinking.
