This book examines the national automotive policy in Malaysia to
help readers gain an understanding of the country's industrial
policy-making processes. Addressing a gap in analysis of the
political economy of the national automotive policy, the research
presented combines the new institutional theory and the
developmental state approach to provide new insights into elite
policymakers' measures to shield domestic automotive enterprises
from pro-market reforms. The formation of the national car project
marks a turning point for Malaysia's industrial development as a
country, which it envisions will lead to it becoming a major player
in the global automotive market. However, the domestic
institutional factors embedded in ethno-economic interests and
patronage constrain national car-makers, limiting their potential
to grow, and instead causing a slowdown in the industry. Allowing
readers to understand the background to Malaysia's heavy
industrialisation programme and the birth of its national car
projects, this book critically discusses the significance of
institutional context in policy outcomes, and highlights how
institutions and policies have impact growth or decline. It is a
valuable resource relevant to analysts, researchers and students
who are interested in the political economy of the national
industrial policy and automotive industry in Malaysia and beyond.

PRACTICE AS IT STARTS WITH THE IDEAL ISLAMIC OUTLINES TAKEN FROM
QURAN AND PROPHETIC STATE, THEN TOOK FOUR RIGHTEOUS CALIPHS PERIOD.

This work provides an immense insight into the ideology and working
of Indian Jamat-e-Islami, that was separated from the original
Jamat after bifurcation of the Indian Sub-continent into two
sovereign political units, viz., India and Pakistan. It became an
important organisation of Muslim minorities in Hindu dominated
Inida. Nevertheless, no serious attempt has been made so far to
study such an important organisation from a scholastic outlook,
while numerous studies, by western as well as Indian scholars, have
been done on its Pakistani counterpart,
KAIUMERS first sat upon the throne of Persia, and was master of the
world. He took up his abode in the mountains, and clad himself and
his people in tiger-skins, and from him sprang all kindly nurture
and the arts of clothing, till then unknown. Men and beasts from
all parts of the earth came to do him homage and receive laws at
his hands, and his glory was like to the sun. Then Ahriman the
Evil, when he saw how the Shah's honour was increased, waxed
envious, and sought to usurp the diadem of the world. So he bade
his son, a mighty Deev, gather together an army to go out against
Kaiumers and his beloved son Saiamuk and destroy them utterly. Now
the Serosch, the angel who defendeth men from the snares of the
Deevs, and who each night flieth seven times around the earth that
he may watch over the children of Ormuzd, when he learned this,
appeared like unto a Peri and warned Kaiumers. So when Saiamuk set
forth at the head of his warriors to meet the army of Ahriman, he
knew that he was contending against a Deev, and he put forth all
his strength. But the Deev was mightier than he, and overcame him,
and crushed him under his hands.
