Develop and maintain a healthy body using advanced Taekwondo
training principles. In Black Belt Fitness for Life, Grandmaster
Tae Sun Kang applies his four decades of experience to guide you
through an innovative method of fitness using Taekwondo principles.
Whether you're a beginner or veteran to stretching and exercise,
you can easily follow Grandmaster Kang's 7-week routine based on
the belt system of Taekwondo, an ancient Korean martial art. With
each week of the regimen, you will learn new skills and techniques
that culminate in the mastery of the techniques necessary to
continue exercising and eating right for life. Through the use of
Taekwondo stretches and movements, this black belt "Combined
Dynamic Stretching" method will improve your flexibility and
balance, stamina and strength, as well as your focus and mental
health. You'll stretch multiple parts of your body at the same
time, improving circulation and building mental strength while
warming up to minimize injuries. As part of his holistic approach
to health and fitness, Grandmaster Kang also outlines an eating
plan designed to help you lose weight naturally. Unlike extreme
diets and workouts that emphasize drastic results quickly, the
Grandmaster's approach is a balanced, easy-to-follow, and--most
importantly--realistic plan designed for your life. Friend and
longtime student of Grandmaster Kang, actor Michael Imperioli wrote
the foreword for the book and shares his experience in training
under Grandmaster, as well as the benefits he has received in
following Grandmaster's philosophy.

and how we can cultivate it in order to achieve wholeness and
balance, this much-needed book combines knowledge and practice to
explore all aspects of Qi, including its modern, everyday
implications. The book not only covers the history of Qi, but also
demystifies the vital philosophies and practices surrounding it.
Filled with valuable information on how to recognise and cultivate
Qi in order to increase your energetic capacity and return to a
more efficient physical, emotional, and psychological state, it
also illustrates Qi's central importance in meditation, Taiji,
Qigong, and other Internal Arts practices that focus upon its
vitality. The author also offers instruction on a number of methods

This is the Black Dragon Fist taught to John Keehan by Senzo Tanaka
and then to Grandmaster Lawrence Day and Frank Dux. Like the
Tibetan Burning Palm, this is a secret training form reserved only
for select students. This Long Form was developed by Grandmaster
Lawrence Day and Ashida Kim from techniques they learned training
with John Keehan, also known as Count Dante. It is named in his
honor and practiced today by all members of our most ancient and
honorable martial arts fellowship and is one of the few acceptable
self-defense forms that qualify an applicant for membership in the
International Fighting Arts Association and Official Black Dragon
Fighting Society. ?Kata Dan?te, the Dance of Death Long Form, is
without doubt, the most savage and terrifying self-defense form
known to man. It is composed of the deadliest poison hand
techniques ever devised, each one guaranteed to kill, cripple or
maim any attacker. Learning these fists could save your life!
Learning all of them will make you a master!?
Grandmaster Miskel shares his wit and insight into the deeper
meaning of martial arts. Essays like, "A Scientific Breakdown of
the Strike" discuss the difference between a crushing strike, a
compression strike, a jarring strike, a stunning strike, and a
shocking strike that will render an opponent unconscious.
Grandmaster Miskel explains the foundations and origins of many of
the systems developed today. He speaks fondly of the early days and
battles and with pride at the direction our brotherhood is going in
the future. He talks about martial arts snobbery and petty jealousy
that divide us and about the need for unity and tolerance. He
reminisces about the old days in Chicago, he speaks of the
philosophical principles that form our code of conduct and
chivalry, and explains the concept of "coming full circle," so
that, in the end, the techniques of the Grandmaster are as simple
as those of a beginner, only devastatingly more effective.
The Lost Forms of Tang Soo Do-Hidden Treasures of the Korean
Martial Arts is a must for students of Tang Soo Do. This book
reveals some of the least taught forms of the Korean system and
will enhance your knowledge of traditional hyungs regardless of
your association or affiliations. This stunning reference book is
the culmination of thirteen years of study under Grandmaster Myung
Seok Seo, my teacher. This book covers eleven forms from first dan
to second dan midnight blue belt and includes photographs and
detail instructions of each movement. This book offers an easy to
learn method which everyone can benefit from, while at the same
time, increasing your knowledge of the more exotic forms of Tang
Soo Do. The author, Grandmaster Sy Cheatham, 9th Dan had been
practicing the martial arts for over forty years. His martial arts
endeavors have included karate, Tae Kwon Do (5th Dan) Hapki-yusul
(3rd Dan) Tang Soo Do, and Pressure Point Techniques. Grandmaster
Cheatham teaches seminars for those who wish to continue their
martial arts journey and increase their knowledge along the way.
This book has been meticulously compiled by Grandmaster Cheatham
and his senior student. Grandmaster Cheatham operates the Korean
Tang Soo Do Academy in Woodbridge, Virginia where he resides with
his wife and daughter.
In the movie Bloodsport, the Dux character, portrayed by
Jean-Claude Van Damme, is seen crushing the bottom brick in a stack
of five bricks. To achieve this feat, the movie says that he must
be capable of executing the Dim Mak, or death touch. A different,
visually less extreme version of this feat was performed by the
real Frank Dux on numerous TV shows and at various exhibitions.
However, instead of crushing the bottom brick in a stack of five,
causing it to visibly explode, the photo on the cover shows Frank
breaking in half the bottom concrete slab in a stack of two
concrete slabs alternated with two fragile and easily broken
ceramic tiles that are left intact. The stunt offers proof that one
can hit the outside of the body leaving no noticeable harm, while
damaging an essential internal organ like the heart. Like in the
movie, the strike is commonly referred to as the "death touch."
-Martial Arts Illustrated Now you to can learn the secrets of the
forbidden Delayed Death Touch...
Exercises you can do while seated with a stretch tube, while
watching tv, working on a computer, at the office.
