Triple bill of the comedy franchise starring Ben Stiller. In 'Night at the Museum' (2006), Larry Daley (Stiller) is a kind-hearted dreamer who always knew that he was destined for greatness. In need of money he takes a job as a lowly graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History in order to provide a more stable life for his ten-year-old son. On his first night on the job, however, he finds that the guardianship of the museum is far from stable. At nightfall an Egyptian spell brings the artefacts and wax figures to life. With Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher) charging through the hallways, miniature Romans and cowboys embroiled in a deadly feud, and a two-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex nagging to play fetch, Larry turns to a wax replica of President Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams) for a little advice on keeping things intact. In 'Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsmonian' (2009), Larry receives news that the Museum of Natural History is to be closed for renovations, and the exhibits moved into federal storage at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where the collection includes artefacts associated with many of the great figures of American history including Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), General Custer (Bill Hader) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Larry must infiltrate the museum's tight security to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan), who have been shipped there by mistake. In 'Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb' (2014), as the magic of the Tablet of Ahkmenrah begins to fade, Larry travels around the world in order to reunite members of his museum crew including Roosevelt, Jedediah and Octavius and, of course, Ahkmenrah (Rami Malek) to try to save the magic before it's too late.

Collection of four films starring Robin Williams. In 'Mrs. Doubtfire' (1993), Williams stars as difficult actor and husband Daniel Hillard who separates acrimoniously from his wife (Sally Field) and receives a court order limiting his visits to his children. As a result he dresses up as a Scottish nanny and gets employment with his ex-wife looking after his own kids. In 'Toys' (1992), when a benevolent toymaker dies he leaves his factory in the care of his army general brother (Michael Gambon), until his son Leslie (Williams) is mature enough to assume control. The General, however, re-structures the factory, and in a break with tradition begins to manufacture war toys, many of which, Leslie discovers, are more than playthings. 'Night at the Museum' (2006) stars Williams alongside Ben Stiller, Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke. Larry Daley (Stiller) is a kind-hearted dreamer who always knew that he was destined for greatness; he just never quite knew how. None of his ideas or inventions have panned out so, with a heavy heart, he takes a regular job as a lowly graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History in order to provide a more stable life for himself and his ten-year-old son, Nick (Jake Cherry). On his first night on the job, however, he finds that guardianship of the museum is far from stable. At nightfall an Egyptian spell brings the artefacts and wax figures to life and with Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher) declaring war through the hallways, Larry turns to a wax replica of President Roosevelt (Williams) for a little advice on keeping things in order. In the sequel, 'Night at the Museum 2' (2009), Stiller reprises his role as Larry Daley, the hapless security guard who encounters living and breathing museum exhibits. This time round, the Museum of Natural History has been closed for renovations, and the museum pieces moved into federal storage at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where the collection includes artefacts associated with many of the great figures of American history including Theodore Roosevelt (Williams), Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), General Custer (Bill Hader) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief' (2010), based on the children's books by Rick Riordan, follows the adventures of 12-year-old New Yorker Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman). When Percy discovers that he is the descendant of a Greek god, he sets out on a cross-country adventure to settle an ongoing feud between the 'Big Three', Zeus (Sean Bean), Hades (Steve Coogan) and Poseidon (Kevin McKidd), and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves. 'Eragon' (2006), based on the best-selling novel by Christopher Paolini, follows the fortunes of an orphaned farm boy, Eragon (Edward Speleers), whose life is changed forever when a mystic stone chooses him for its keeper. When the stone turns out to be an egg from which a baby dragon is hatched, Eragon realises he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller (Jeremy Irons) for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon (voiced by Rachel Weisz) must navigate the dangerous terrain of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds.

When Mark Radcliffe was born in the late 1950s, Britain was trying to find its own version of the dangerously sexy Elvis ... we gave the world Cliff Richard but by the time Mark was old enough to recognise pop songs on the radio, the UK was exploding into the world's most exciting place to be for a young music fan. In this, his eagerly awaited new book, Mark Radcliffe takes a record from each year of his life, using the song as a starting point from which to reach out and pull together a wonderfully entertaining catalogue of memories and asides about British culture. And, as one would expect from this unique and popular broadcaster, the tunes he lists are not the usual suspects. From The Kinks' 'See My Friends', through Slade's 'Coz I Luv You' to Kraftwerk's 'Europe Endless' and Joy Division's 'Atmosphere', Mark's selections bring forth a diverse collision of styles from eras uniquely defined by their musical genres and fashions. Bringing his choices right up to the present day, we see the inclusion of artists such as Richard Hawley, Elbow and Fleet Foxes. Mark's hugely entertaining and affectionate trawl through his favourite music of the past 50 years is guaranteed to surprise and delight his many fans.

Approaching 50, Mark Radcliffe decided to write about his life and his love of music. But crucially, he only wanted to write about the most interesting days and not the dull ones in between. From "The Day My Mother Hit Me With a Golf Club" to "The Day I Met the Band Who Changed My Life," he charts the peaks and troughs of his life and career with wit, panache, and insight. He is very funny when recounting his days working at the BBC in the 1980s and 1990s (including how, when bored, he and his colleagues invented a fictional department), and on winning Stars in Their Eyes as Shane MacGowan. Yet amongst the laughter are more sober days, such as the day when he learned John Peel had died. A cracking read and a potted history of both one man's life and his love affair with music, "Thank You For the Days" is a uniquely entertaining memoir that will appeal not just to music fans but to connoisseurs of British popular culture.

There has never been an artist quite like Chris Sievey or his 'fantastic' comedic alter ego, Frank Sidebottom. Whether pushing for chart action while fronting his former band The Freshies or allowing the bombastic Sidebottom to wreak anarchy and chaos on television, radio or with the Oh Blimey Big Band, Sievey's mischievous muse seemed to obey no boundaries. Yet it was only after Chris's untimely demise in 2010 that the extent of his influence became fully apparent. The emergence of Jon Ronson's film, Frank, Steve Sullivan's exhaustive documentary Being Frank: The Chris Sievey Story and the bizarre erection of the Frank Sidebottom statue in his native Timperley last October -- before 2,000 devotees -- all combined to make this the most extraordinary stories of recent decades. In this unorthodox biography, legendary journalist Mick Middles draws on his thirty year friendship with Sievey to gain further insight this most charismatic of artists. Family members, fellow musicians, fans and acquaintances help trace Chris's career from Timperley to Hollywood.

A warm and funny novel about folk musicians, by one of Britain's most popular radio broadcasters. Having been sacked from his university teaching job, Ed has returned to his home town to pick up the threads of his old life with his friends and ex-girlfriend, Jeannie, in the Northern Sky folk music club. His dream is to play with them again, making music like his hero Nick Drake - and maybe even a little money. But know-it-all Matt O'Malley is now running the club and has ambitious plans for them that involve contracts and record deals. Can Ed get in on the act, or does O'Malley have a hidden agenda involving the less talented but more photogenic Lane Fox? And can Ed win Jeannie back - or will his legendary temper prevent him from getting anything right? This is a funny and touching novel, written with real Northern soul by one of the country's most popular and knowledgeable commentators on music. It will appeal to anyone who loves music, anyone who's ever been young and ambitious, and anyone who's ever fallen out with someone over the one thing that unites them.
