This book includes significant recent research on robotic
algorithms. It has been written by leading experts in the field.
The 15th Workshop on the Algorithmic Foundations of Robotics (WAFR)
was held on June 22-24, 2022, at the University of Maryland,
College Park, Maryland. Each chapter represents an exciting
state-of-the-art development in robotic algorithms that was
presented at this 15th incarnation of WAFR. Different chapters
combine ideas from a wide variety of fields, spanning and combining
planning (for tasks, paths, motion, navigation, coverage, and
patrol), computational geometry and topology, control theory,
machine learning, formal methods, game theory, information theory,
and theoretical computer science. Many of these papers explore new
and interesting problems and problem variants that include
human-robot interaction, planning and reasoning under uncertainty,
dynamic environments, distributed decision making, multi-agent
coordination, and heterogeneity.
This volume of the SPAR series brings the proceedings of the
fourteen edition of the DARS symposium on Distributed Autonomous
Robotic Systems, whose proceedings have been published within SPAR
since the past edition. This symposium took place in Boulder, CO
from October 15th to 17th, 2018. The volume edited by Nikolaus
Correll and Mac Schwager contains 36 scientific contributions
cutting across planning, control, design, perception, networking,
and optimization, all united through the common thread of
distributed robotic systems.

Lack of proper nutrition can severely impact the immune system, especially when it is already compromised. This book defines recent advances in understanding the nutritional deficiencies found in AIDS and HIV-positive patients. It explores the scientific knowledge of how nutritional and dietary changes and herbal medicines can benefit or potentially harm these patients. The text also discusses the negative effects of undernutrition that can lead to starvation, a potent immunosuppressant. Nutrients and Foods in AIDS is a much-needed scientific appraisal of current alternative strategies used in preventing or treating AIDS and its symptoms for improved quality of life.
Diploma Thesis from the year 1998 in the subject Business economics
- Marketing, Corporate Communication, CRM, Market Research, Social
Media, University of Innsbruck (Sozial- und

Inhaltsangabe: Abstract: In recent years, more and more people
expressed their concerns about some companies' performance. Mainly
not about their financial performance, but about their social
performance. About their attitude towards the environment. About
the treatment of employees. Consumers, governments,
environmentalists, trade unions, but also managers felt that there
is a need for change in business life. This paper investigates two
questions: In general, how does the marketing of travel
intermediaries change when business is conducted over the internet?
In detail, how can travel intermediaries build customer loyalty an
the internet? Why do these two issues pose problems that require a
thorough analysis? First, the internet provides a new platform for
dealing with travel services. Although the internet travel market
still represents only a small fraction of the total travel market,
many travel intermediaries entered it in anticipation of huge
profits. The number of travellers who use the internet to obtain
travel services and the money they spend on-line for travel
purposes is growing rapidly. But competition and marketing in the
on-line travel market is strongly affected by the unique
characteristics of the internet. In order to stay in business in
the long run, a deeper understanding of the effects of the internet
an the travel industry and an the marketing of individual travel
firms is necessary. Also, the internet threatens to eliminate
intermediaries by linking service providers and customers directly.
Therefore, an evaluation of the marketing impacts of the internet
is even more vital for travel intermediaries. Second, a key element
of every on-line marketing strategy is customer loyalty: Many
