A college professor decides to live his life with reckless abandon after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.

While Evan Trautwig (Stiller), a newcomer to the suburban neighbourhood, may have a legitimate reason for forming a crime watch group following the recent murder of a friend, it is clear that for most of the men ulterior motives are at work. Indeed, Bob Finnerty (Vaughn) seems to spend a lot more time examining the dating habits of his daughter, Chelsea (Erin Moriarty), than he does looking for threats. However, when the men stumble across what appears to be an alien plan to destroy humankind, they understand where their responsibilities lie and set out to counter the threat.

High school loner Robert (Ezra Miller) spends his spare time surfing the net for hardcore pornography and random clips of unrelated items that appeal to him. Given a digital video camera to record footage for an audiovisual class, Robert happens to be present when two popular girl students accidentally die from a drugs overdose. With the school in mourning, Robert is given the job of producing the school's official memorial video. But as he becomes immersed in his task, he soon finds himself becoming even more alienated from those around him.

However, Jack arrives to find the house already occupied by Iris's half-sister, Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt), who has come to recover from the breakdown of a long-term relationship. When Iris unexpectedly joins them the following morning, it soon becomes clear that all three have their reasons for hiding away from the world. As their relationships deepen and intertwine over the coming days, all three come to learn a lot about themselves and each other.

Disney fantasy comedy about a childless couple who get more than they bargained for when they wish for a baby. After being told by a doctor that they cannot conceive, Jim and Cindy Green (Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Garner) bury a box in their garden containing their wishes for the child they have been longing for. That night a mysterious boy, Timothy (CJ Adams), turns up in their home. The Greens have no idea where Timothy has come from, but clues such as the leaves growing out of his ankles suggest that he must be somehow otherwordly. In their gratitude, the Greens ask no questions, telling friends and neighbours only that they have made a miraculous adoption. Despite his strange characteristics, Timothy brings joy to the lives of everyone around him, and becomes firm friends with fellow oddball Joni (Odeya Rush).
