Die Beitrage in diesem Band untersuchen die Frage, welchen Stellenwert die deutsche Sprache in Italien - nicht nur im schulischen Fremdsprachenunterricht - einnimmt. Die Beitrager erstellen hierbei eine umfassende Kartographie der Stellung des Deutschen in Italien, die mehrere Aspekte abdeckt: als Wissenschaftssprache, in ihrer Bedeutung fur die Wirtschaftskommunikation, im Rahmen von dualen Bildungssystemen, als Arbeitsmittel im Rahmen von CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) und ihrer Bedeutung fur den Tourismus. Durch eine aufwendige Datenerhebung dokumentiert dieser Sammelband, die Trends, die sich fur die deutsche Sprache in Italien abzeichnen.

In diesem Buch untersucht der Autor, ob der Plurizentrik des Deutschen im universitaren DaF-Unterricht in China Rechnung getragen wird und ob die chinesischen DaF-Lerner dabei ein plurizentrisch adaquates Bewusstsein aufbauen koennen. Dazu erstreckt sich die Untersuchung einerseits auf die Analyse der chinaspezifischen Lehrwerke mit Blick auf die Berucksichtigung plurizentrischer Inhalte. Andererseits werden durch die Befragung von Germanistikstudierenden quantitative Daten erhoben, deren Interpretation die Kenntnisstande der Studierenden uber vielerlei Aspekte der Plurizentrik des Deutschen erfassen. Aus diesen empirischen Befunden leitet der Autor schliesslich differenzierte Vorschlage fur die kunftige Verbesserung des Umgangs mit der Plurizentrik des Deutschen ab.
