Fantastic Cooking - The Benton Kitchen is not about culinary arts
or becoming a culinary specialist. I am no chef but I am a great
cook so I teach people how to cook and my cooking lessons are in my
cook books. Think of these as my cooking courses where you learn to
cook the right way. Remember - cookery is not culinary Here is a
list of my cookbooks; The Best Leftover Recipes, Cooking &
Baking Terms, Measurements & Abbreviations, Manly Meals and An
Italian Mama's Cookbook. Meet Nancy L Benton. She is not a chef but
she is a fantastic cook. She has written a series of cookbooks
designed to make anybody a good cook. The Benton Kitchen is the
first in the series and offers home economics tips, what appliances
you should have and speaks on freshness and budget. Then Nancy
launches into her recipe books beginning with "An Italian Mama's
Cookbook." Learn how to cook great meals while keeping within your
food budget. Nancy shows you how to become a fantastic cook and
home econ expert. Nothing fancy here; no haute cuisine but just
great food and information
You got this book for a reason: you are tired of microwave TV
dinners, canned food and unhealthy takeouts. You want to enjoy
fast, delicious, cheap and healthy meals that will make eating
alone a worthwhile experience. Well, good news, for this book will
guide you through the journey of healthier eating! From now on,
your kitchen will be your best friend. If there is something about
your kitchen that you don't like (such as the paint on the walls)
then go ahead and change it. You will be spending a bit more time
in this part of your home so why not make it a fun experience every
time. One big advantage of cooking for one is that dish washing
won't be such a chore. All you will ever need is one pair of
cutlery, one bowl, one plate, one cup and one glass. And just
because you're cooking for one does not make it a rush all of the
time. Dedicate a table and a chair to be your dining area, spread
an attractive tablecloth over it and place a vase with some fresh
cut flowers in it.
Culinary inspiration for hustlers with taste. A little bit of
something for everyone.

Cooking for a vegetarian can sometimes be a challenge. Thinking of
something new and interesting to cook that doesn't include meat or
meat products can really test your imagination, especially when
cooking for one. It can be very tempting to resort to the
ready-made vegetarian meals that you can find in the supermarkets.
But it really is so much more fun to plan and cook your very own
vegetarian food. Cooking for one means you are free to experiment
with ingredients and flavors that you particularly like. No-one
wants to eat the same few things week after week so I decided to
delve into the selection of vegetarian recipes I have tried, tested
and tweaked over the years and put them into this book. Some are
really quick to put together, others may take a little more time.
But all have ingredients that are mostly cheap to buy and easy to
find. A lot of the recipes show interesting ways to use left-overs
too when cooking for one. You may be looking at this book because
you have a family member that is vegetarian and you are struggling
to come up with good, satisfying meal ideas. You may have a child
that has decided not to eat meat anymore for whatever reason (it
happens...). You may even have decided to remove meat products from
your own diet. Whatever the reason, this book will provide you with
some ideas for quick, cheap, nutritious and tasty vegetarian dishes
for one as well as stimulate your imagination so you can invent
your own. Cooking vegetarian food for one can be interesting as
well as fun.
