Most individuals who follow the paranormal don't realize that one
of the best sources for finding people who have had paranormal,
psychic, or UFO experiences could be their own family and friends.
In "Paranormal Family and Friends, " author Frank Santariga reveals
some of the best cases of his twenty five years as a
parapsychologist, stemming from family members, friends, and
neighbors. What makes these events fascinating is that he
personally knows the people who recounted the incidents and can
attest to their impeccable character. In the cases where family
members are retelling experiences of their close friends or
relatives, they too, unconditionally vouch for the integrity of the
narrator. From the author's mother's vision of cousin Adrian at her
moment of death to his Brother Alfred's encounter with the Florida
"Skunk Ape" and UFOs, you will be drawn in by these remarkable and
mystifying accounts of the paranormal. Most individuals who follow

"Be Fruitful And Multiply" is a fresh and forward look at how we as
believers, have not only been commanded to prosper by God (mind,
body, and soul), but have equally been designed and equipped by Him
to do so. During the course of this book we'll discuss God's
incredible revelation of pregnancy, and how it relates to us given
birth to our full potential. Yes I said 'our', because God's
perfect intent is not to bless everyone else and leave you out.
However, there is a process to becoming spiritually pregnant, just
as there is a process to becoming naturally pregnant. As you read
this book I believe that the revelation will speak directly to you,
the reader, to get up and participate with God's plan for your
life. This is not to discourage you, or to make you feel ashamed,
on the contrary, it speaks directly to you in order to inspire you
to show greatness. Some of the questions that this book will
address are: "What is my purpose?," "Can I make it through this
pain?," "Am I waiting on God or is God waiting on me?," "When is
the right time to get pregnant?," and "Is ministry just preaching?"
If you have asked yourself any or all of these questions, then
without a doubt you will want to read this book in its entirety.
Now, let's go forward and participate with God, believing big and
doing big, because truly, nothing just happens, especially birth.

Good and evil/ right and wrong have been important issues in all
cultures and societies during all ages. The perceptions of moral
norms differ greatly depending on the environment, economic
security, knowledge and information available to the citizens and
the overall state of security of life of people. With social
evolution the moral behavior also changes its character. The issue
of moral has become more precarious during recent social changes
brought by the modern consumer culture and the global communication
age. The book analyses the history of social evolution and its
impact on the perceptions of moral values across the globe. The
main enactors in the moral arena are often the people with vested
interests in economic and political power. They exploit human
psychology of fear for the unknown and the natural instincts to
seek security against threats from competing groups. The book
reflects on these mechanisms from the perspective of science -
especially biology and psychology - and arrives at a complex arena
of human behavior full of contradictions and conflicts. The
analysis should stimulate free thinking and inspire people to take
a fresh look at the understanding of moral questions beyond the
prevalent framework of economic and political interests in which
values take shape. This constitutes the first part of the book
where the author suggests his own way out of the maze. In the
second part moral questions are projected through a spiritual
perspective, which cannot be subjected to rational arguments. The
book is unique in many ways which span from Kantian and Nietzschean
moral world to mysticism as the foundation of moral universalism.
Fringe Rhetorics: Conspiracy Theories and the Paranormal identifies
these rhetorical similarities of conspiracy theories and paranormal
accounts by delving into rhetorical, psychosocial, and political
science research. Identifying something as "fringe" indicates its
proximal placement within accepted norms of contemporary society.
Both conspiracy theories and paranormal accounts dwell on the
fringes and both use surprisingly similar persuasive techniques.
Using elements of the Aristotelian canon as well as Oswald's
strengthening and weakening strategies, this book establishes a
pattern for the analysis of fringe rhetorics. It also applies this
pattern through rhetorical analyses of several documentaries and
provides suggestions for countering fringe arguments.
Nothing like some good ghost stories on a cool Florida evening
around a campfire (or at home in your favorite reading chair). And
nothing like a swamp as a good, scary setting, especially Florida's
famous ones--from the Everglades to Mosquito Lagoon. Mysterious
things just happen in swamps. Maybe it's because they are often
wet, shadowy places of wild beauty where few people go. Where else
but a swamp can you find a ghost who is obsessed with the ghost
orchid? Throw in a skunk ape or two and you've got the ingredients
for many entertaining hours. In writing tales for this book, Doug
Alderson drew upon many years of entertaining young people as a
summer camp counselor and storyteller, and also from decades as a
swamp explorer. He is a former associate editor of Florida Wildlife
magazine. To learn more about his writing and photography, log onto

Seattle may not be as old as some would expect from a haunted city.
But it has a large number of haunted sites and stories. Spooked in
Seattle will lead readers on a journey through Seattle's
neighborhoods and reveal the city's public locations, history, and
tales of strange encounters. For those who love to venture off into
corners in search of ghosts and the unknown, this book will set
readers forth in the right direction. Spooked in Seattle features
more than 150 haunted locations, historic and contemporary photos,
top ten questions about ghosts, Seattle's top ten most haunted
places, location maps and addresses, Seattle history and haunted
facts, Seattle cemeteries and tombstone symbols, and more. Spooked
in Seattle presents many locations throughout the city that are
believed to be haunted, claim to have ghosts, or have undergone
investigation. All of these stories are broken down into sections
based on the city's neighborhoods with corresponding addresses to
make finding them easier for the ghost enthusiasts. Maps and photos
help bring to life the locations, making the Seattle ghosthunting
experience easy and enjoyable.
The eastern side of the Smokies abounds with spooky tales, like the
story of a Shadow Woman who appeared to a farmer each morning and
evening to beg for a cup of milk. Skinned Tom is another East
Tennessee haunt, though his is a sinister tale that warns the
unfaithful to steer clear of local lover's lanes for their illicit
trysting. From the farmer who finds a Cavern of Skulls to a
moonshiner who makes a deal with a water demon; and the Half Shaved
ghost seeking vengeance to the first (and only) meeting of the
Asheville Ghost Club, the Great Smoky Mountains and its foothills
abound with spooky tales. My favorites are in this collection.
Do places where violent deaths occur somehow absorb the horror,
only to conjure up images that haunt the living for generations to
come? Many people believe that this can indeed happen; above all,
in the context of that manmade phenomenon that reaps so great a
toll in so short a time: War. Haunted U.S. Battlefields takes us on
a spine-tingling tour of America's most legendary spectral scenes
of human struggle-from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War, from
the Indian Wars to World War II and beyond. As America's bloodiest
conflict, the Civil War has yielded the greatest number of ghostly
sightings. Hence, most of the twenty-five battlefield legends this
book relates are from this era-whether the myriad strange spectral
happenings associated with Gettysburg, or this war's lesser known
but equally tragic events. Summing up the eerie essence of wartime
scenes across America-many of which today host popular ghost
tours-Haunted U.S. Battlefields is a must for students of the
paranormal, Civil War buffs, and all others interested in a
spine-chilling realm of military history that the history books
don't dare tell.
Thrilling stories of supernatural occurrences in Connecticut,
including the curse on Dudleytown, the spirit of Hanna Cranna who
causes car crashes in Monroe, the phantom black dog of Meriden,
buried-alive Midnight Mary, the lost village of Bara-Hack, and many
more.
Paranormal investigator Ryan Dunn and his Savannah Ghost Research
Society return with a new collection of investigations and ghostly
hotspots in their second book on Savannah hauntings. Were people
really forced into piracy at the Pirate's House? Why did Matilda
Sorrel jump to her death at the Sorrel Weed House? Who is the child
spirit at the Marshall House Hotel, biting people in their sleep?
Why did one home require a Catholic priest to perform an exorcism?
Go along with the team as they sift through historical evidence at
the Georgia Historic Society, separating fact from fiction, and
read about their overnight encounters. This authoritative read will
take you from Savannah's earliest settlers to present day, and you
may find some of those earliest settlers refusing to remain in
their own time.
The book constitutes the final part of "Tathagata - A Divine Comedy
for Our Time" where Tathagata transcends the limitations of the
ego-bound world and sees himself as the Christ-Man, who embodies in
himself the mystery of existence of both Man and God. The dialogues
between the Christ-man and God touch upon the return of God to
human life and reveal the nature of the incomprehensible existence
of the Divine Being through an allegorical language, which grazes
between the realm of knowledge and reason and a world which lies
beyond all knowing and understanding by the human mind.If one
wonders about God, whose nature of existence cannot be explained in
any language known to man, this book may help to gain a closer
understanding of the way the Divine may appear and act in human
life.In modern time science denounces the ideas of Divinity and
considers the believers of God as people with brain dysfunction.
This book is a product of such a "dysfunctional brain" to whom God
has spoken. These dialogues between man and God will throw new
lights on the existence of Christ and Buddha, who do not exist in
the physical plane but manifest through human mind, and appear in
the inner realm as the presence of the Divine power which animates
all creations in the universe.
This book is a collection of poetry. Each were written individually
at seperate times in my life. They have been put together from my
earliest pieces to Amy newest symbolizing my thirty years. Some of
the pieces are sad, some are happy, while others can be
devastating. Regardless of the emotional rollercoaster, each one is
part of my life. These writings are simply lyrics, written out
emotions, thoughts and ideas representative of how I felt at a
certain time in my life. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I
enjoyed writing them.
