Obligado a un descanso forzoso, me di cuenta de que nada es casual y que, quizas, la vida me estaba pidiendo que escribiera algo de mi experiencia. No se si con esta narracion habre logrado mi proposito. Pero la idea conducente fundamental, su objeto, es ]charlar] con los medicos tanto jovenes como adultos, de homeopatia. "Para novedades, los clasicos, decia Unamuno." Hoy en dia, con el avance formidable de la tecnologia, el homeopata estudioso esta tentado de buscar otros caminos en la busqueda del simillimum. Asi han aparecido nuevas formas, nuevos angulos, desde donde hallar el remedio curativo. Y esta bien que asi sea. Pero para mi la patogenesia es el requisito fundamental para identificar al paciente con su remedio. La busqueda de otros caminos es correcta. Si la modernidad logra encontrar de otro modo el medicamento indicado en cada caso, mejor. Sin embargo, si se ignora la patogenesia y lo que implica en la identificacion del medicamento con el paciente, se podran aliviar enfermos, incluso, curar algunos, pero ello no bastara para progresar, mientras queden olvidados los libros de Materia Medica escritos por los clasicos y renovados por sus seguidores. En otras palabras, no basta con que, por alguna de las tecnicas modernas, se llegue, por ejemplo, a Hydrogenium o Zincum y que con ello se cure un caso, si al mismo tiempo no se ha identificado la patogenesia de estos medicamentos con el paciente. De lo contrario, salvo en casos excepcionales, nos encontraremos en un callejon sin salida. No pretendo que se sigan mis conceptos al pie de la letra, pretenderlo seria un grave error de ensenanza. Mi anhelo, simplemente, es despertar en los educandos la idea de que lo nuevo es muy util para sumar a lo ya ensenado por los grandes maestros y no para restar. Hacerlo, sin duda, seria lamentable. Muchas veces, al concluir algun ateneo, algunos medicos me han pedido que escribiera mis memorias. Las he comenzado, pero, en una vida tan extensa todo va muy despacio ya que los recuerdos pugnan todos por salir primero a la palestra, y, la consecuencia es que todavia-como suele decirse- ]estamos en veremos." Pero -como ya dije- el 3 de enero pasado, a 50 metros de mi consultorio, una baldosa - por envidia no mas- detuvo mis merecidas vacaciones con el regalo de una linda fractura de rotula. Pasada la primera y logica "bronca," decidi escribir estas "reflexiones" surgidas de una cincuentena de casos de mi practica. La mayoria han sido relatadas casi de memoria, con nombres ficticios, para observar el secreto medico, excepto las de algunos familiares intimos, pero son la version exacta de lo ocurrido en cada una de ellas, ya que han quedado grabadas en mi memoria por haber sido yo mismo el sorprendido por los resultados conseguidos. El objeto de este libro es transmitir a mis colegas algunas ideas que han surgido a lo largo de todos estos anos de practica homeopatica. Al terminar mi ultimo libro, que titule: "Homeopatia, reflexiones sobre 60 anos de practica homeopatica," pense que seria util volver a publicar mi primer libro sobre "Materia Medica Comparada," editado en Septiembre de 1982.
