Al terminar mi ultimo libro, que titule: "Homeopatia, reflexiones sobre 60 anos de practica homeopatica," pense que seria util volver a publicar mi primer libro sobre "Materia Medica Comparada," editado en Septiembre de 1982. Su renovacion tuvo serias dificultades, ya que la editora carecia de originales utiles. Fue entonces que el Dr. Eduardo Bitis, con una dedicacion encomiable, tomo a su cargo la tarea de rehacer totalmente la obra que aqui se presenta. Por que treinta anos despues? Es que refrescar los conocimientos adquiridos durante mas de veinte anos estudiando y colaborando con el Dr. Tomas Paschero toman para mi un doble significado: rendir un calido homenaje a mi Maestro por adopcion, y poner sobre el tapete las bases para una mayor comprension de la Materia Medica Pura, las Patogenesias y el Repertorio, hoy dia que, a la luz de las nuevas tecnicas y criterios adquiridos, las clasicas ensenanzas de los grandes maestros van perdiendo un poco su prmacia y actualidad. Revisando muchas paginas de "Materia Medica Comparada," creo que tienen perfecta congruencia y trascendencia: por ello se acoplan perfectamente con el metodo de estudio explicado en mi segundo libro. A riesgo de pecar de vanidoso me animo a decir que estoy satisfecho, creo que es util el aporte que yo he efectuado, hasta cierto punto porque al mismo tiempo sugiere que aun queda muchisimo por hacer desde esta y otras perspectivas aportadas por una pleyade numerosa de homeopatas. De lo que estoy convencido es que cada vez que escuchemos el estudioso homeoopata con el animo de aprender habremos dado un paso cierto en el camino de la verdad.
