Br hmanic Vignettes is a boon to readers of all ages interested in
India's past, its traditions, as well as its possible future. The
author's erudition in Sanskrit, English, and French has been used
to illuminate his varied experiences first as student, then
teacher, later as career diplomat, and after retirement, founder of
a unique school in Mysore, India. The school emphasizes Sanskrit
teaching; its students participate in a unique experiment called
Dharmamananam (described in the book), introducing them to Vedantic
values of ancient Indian culture. Glimpses of other countries,
leaders, benefactors, and common folk are vividly brought to light,
prompting the reader's intellectual and moral involvement. His
meetings with Dr. S. Radhakrishnan (scholar and former president of
India), Jawaharlal Nehru (first prime minister of India, who chose
him as a diplomatic recruit in the new Indian Republic), and many
events and encounters with fascinating people from varied cultures
have many interesting insights. The author's unique Br hmanic
perspective of India's foreign policy, Shakespeare, the Indian epic
Ramayana, and the need to revamp society and education using the
Gurukula model of ancient India and the Kibutzims of Israel makes
for compelling reading. His personal involvement with and the
account of the Portuguese enclaves and Goa becoming integral with
the nascent Indian republic, describes the pulls and pressures of
history and political reality with his own clarity of vision and
immediacy. There are many such sketches meriting study and
reflection.
Difficult situations occur every day, all over the world. They can
occur in our homes, on our jobs, and even in our churches. As
Christians, we must face these challenges and understand their
roots in the spiritual world. We must also answer the call to
witness Christ in everyone, especially those who cause us
difficulty and distress. In "More than Conquerors II: They That Are
with Us: A Believer's Guide to Overcoming Opposition and Ethical
Dilemmas, " minister and author Thomas Randolph Wood Jr. shows
through real-world examples how true victory over situations,
circumstances, and difficult persons is available through Jesus
Christ. The helpful, encouraging lessons of "They That Are with Us"
offer answers to the hard and sometimes overwhelming challenges we
encounter in our lives today. Perhaps we struggle with money, with
relationships, with the future, or with faith; by sharing our
stories and sharing the word of God, we can learn to honestly
support each other in our walks both inside and outside the
physical structures of our church buildings. Through this testimony
and witness, we experience the true will of God for our
congregations, for ourselves, and for our world.
Learn how to rise above the trials and sufferings in your life.

your life. Learn how to trust God when things in your life are
upside down.
When you think of deliverance, God is thinking of development.
God is always faithful and trustworthy, and often circumstances
challenge this in your life. Lock into God's promises and integrity
when life has dealt you a rough path to walk. A must read for
anyone who is going through trials and suffering, "The River of the
Lord "opens the door to God's "path through suffering. "
Not a Failed Faith will enable the reader to understand that
there's more to death than meets the eye, particularly after
journeying through an extended period of time-fervent in prayer and
strong in faith-for a loved one's healing.
Despite not seeing our expectations fulfilled, our faith was not
destroyed or diminished. Rather, it proved to be resilient and
continued to increase. God's goodness and grace are abundant.
The short story in chapter 8 will introduce the beautiful side
of this tragic event to children who have lost loved ones. It will
minister to adults as well.
The reader will be encouraged to open his/her heart to God's
omniscience and sovereignty over any matter. He is worthy to be
trusted.
Religion is a hard topic to discuss, especially with family members
who do not have the same religious beliefs. This book began as a
paper given to family members and friends in an attempt to show
them what the scriptures teach about the Sabbath. Though a number
of Sabbath-keeping church members and leaders refused to discuss
the paper, other ministers and church friends thought it should be
published. Years of studying and writing have culminated into "The
Sabbath, the Law, and the New Covenant." This book takes the
central theme of the Bible, God's redemptive plan for mankind, and
walks the reader through the scriptures. It begins with the plan's
inception and then explains how the plan was introduced to man, how
it began to unfold, and finally how the plan was fulfilled. This
book highlights many of the scriptures that teach about the
Sabbath, the Old Testament Laws, including the Ten Commandments,
and the New Testament covenant of Jesus Christ, while comparing
some widely held beliefs with the word of God. For all who truly
love the word of God and worship on the seventh-day Sabbath, this
book is a must-read. Those who wish to learn about the subject
matter will also find the information insightful, coming from one
who formerly worshiped on the seventh-day Sabbath.
God has been revealing to me that writing is an effective way for
me to share my heart with Him; I feel encouraged to use it as a way
to share his love and my faith in him with you. I have spent the
majority of my life searching desperately for the missing piece to
complete my life puzzle. The discovery of my life has been
made....Jesus. From the bottom of my heart to the top of the
highest mountain, I would like to proclaim to everyone who is
alive, ?God loves you God wants to be close to you You are created
for HIM He his waiting with open arms and unending love for you God
forgives you We can approach God with confidence in our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. The idea of this book grew from a seed planted
in my heart on November 9, 2012. While reading II Kings, God
revealed to me an important role in my Christian life. God tells of
King Hezekiah, who was aware of God's presence in past events, had
a personal relationship with God via a powerful prayer life, and
trusted in God's help for current events in his life. One thing he
lacked was his concern for future generations. God convicted my
heart that I was lacking this as well. Not sure what to do, I
prayed that God would show me. A book. Since I will not be around
forever to share my faith with future generations, I can share my
faith through a book. This is the first and possibly the only book
I will write; I will leave that up to God. This is a collection of
prayers and writings regarding some truths God has revealed to me.
An invitation to you...to draw near, speak to God about what is on
your heart, then be still, and know that He is God. This is the
sacrifice God wants from us. He wants us to share our heart with
him and trust him and his word to guide our lives. Talk to God
about anything you would a family member, best friend, co-worker,
etc. God wants us to come to Him first.
Just as Jesus spoke to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus,
so too will He speak personally to the reader as he or she "walks"
with Him.
In Walk With Me, Jesus says, "Let me take you to that moment
when I will enter your heart." To walk with Jesus, to be with Him,
to listen to Him, to hear Him, makes it possible to become more
like Him so that little by little our hearts and minds reflect
Jesus.
"I want to let you know who you are to Me and to My Father. And
to tell you that We need you. To you, beloved one, God gives His
life and calls you into His very life. Come and see how our life
together grows from simply being together each day."
God has His perfect plan for each of us; each of us is
completely in His mind, and His will for each is perfect. The "way"
of Jesus is the holy way, the wonder-filled way, the way that bears
much fruit in our life and in the world.
"I am the Friend who, through our friendship, will bring you
further into eternal life." It is the life He alone brings and
nourishes.
Give Him that moment to be with Him, to listen to Him, to hear
Him, to let Him touch your life, and to let Him lead you. (233

For centuries scientists and theologians have argued about the
origin, structure, function, and purpose of the universe, with no
end in sight. In the meantime, the average human being, when not
overwhelmed by activities needed for mere survival, has wondered
who we are, where we came from, and why we're here. Dr. Michael
Bohley believes that the answers we seek are hiding in plain sight,
available to anyone with a healthy brain, regardless of level of
education or specialization in certain obscure fields of science,
theology, or philosophy. The answers are to be found within the
sphere of our beliefs and how they help to shape the world around
us.
From the 1990s the British developed an interest in
natural burial, also known as woodland, green, or ecological
burial. Natural
burial constitutes part of a long, historical legacy for British
funeral
innovation; from Victorian cemetery monuments and garden cemeteries
through the
birth and rise of cremation to the many things done with cremated
remains. The
book sets natural burial in the context of such creative dealing
with death,
grief, mourning, and the celebration of life. Themes from sociology
and
anthropology combine with psychological issues and theological
ideas to show
how human emotions take shape and help people consider their own
death whilst
also dealing with the death of those they love.
The authors explore the variety of motivations for
people to engage with natural burial and its popular appeal, using
interviews
with people having a relationship with one natural burial site
created by the
Church of England but open to all. They illustrate people's
understandings of
life and death in the sacred, secular and mixed worlds of modern
Britain.
This book takes you on a personal journey that helps you realize

created to be. It strives to help strengthen your faith, while
building stronger friendships, as you discover your purpose in
life. "The giG "is a great way to meet other remarkable women who
are serious about making a difference in the lives of others.
