With the Dusk to Dawn feature, you can activate the logo light on a schedule in the Ring app. With Dusk to Dawn activated, your Outdoor Siren will be visible after dark and will let the neighbourhood know you have security covered.

To use the Dusk to Dawn feature you will need to power Outdoor Siren with a Quick Release Battery Pack combined with a Solar Panel for a continuous charge, or hardwired for non-stop power. Outdoor Siren also supports Ring Plug-in Adapter (2nd Generation) which allows you to power the Dusk to Dawn feature from an internal electrical socket.

The Ajax Hood is a visor for the MotionProtect Outdoor wireless street motion sensor. The Hood is made of durable polycarbonate. It is designed to protect and mask the sensors from snow or rain, thus preventing false alarms. The Ajax Hood canopy is mounted on the MotionProtect Outdoor sensor without removing it from the mount.

The MotionProtect Outdoor wireless street motion sensor enclosure has masking sensors that trigger an alarm if intruders want to interfere with the sensors. The sensor can be activated on glueing, barriers and painting. The device will also work when the intruders try to block the lens view. According to the same principle, the sensor can be triggered by snow sticking to the sensors and large raindrops, which will cause a false alarm. Ajax Hood will protect the MotionProtect Outdoor sensor even during heavy snowfall or rain.

Mounting of the Ajax Hood on the MotionProtect Outdoor detector takes place in minutes with the Dual Lock mounting tape of the Ajax Hood. Neither the motion sensor nor its protection requires disassembly of the housing during installation. Effective motion detection will be provided by installing the MotionProtect Outdoor sensor and the Ajax Hood visor at the height of 0.8 — 1.3 meters.
