When the so-called End of the World date December 21, 2012
according to the Mayan Calendar passed peacefully, it gives some
people quite a room for thinking and rethinking. What does the End
of the World mean indeed? Will a day like that come to us for the
real? If the answer is NO, then why does the Bible say that it is
for the real in black and white, that is the day when Jesus comes
the second time? If the answer is YES, then why so many people
"crying wolves" have found themselves to be wrong? This demands us
to face the music and seek the true answer. This book is published
to provide readers "another kind" of thinking for this issue so
that we have a better and deeper understanding of "the Last Days"
talked in the Bible, from the perspective of the ancient Chinese
culture. After we published Taichuan Tongs' six-book "End Time
Series" by the Christmas of the year 2011, we met a special reader
who showed such a great interest in the six books that he started
to share his feedback and inspired reflections and research for
many issues on one of our websites at 1459919.NET using the pen
name Lot Tertius. Maybe our six books had renewed his
understandings of the Bible and his wholistic view and vision of
other things outside the Bible, he contacted us and expressed his
need to reform his past understandings of "I Ching," the one
ancient Chinese writing that is considered to be the book of all
other books among Chinese speaking people. To our surprise, this
reader of our six-book "End Time Series" finished the manuscript of
this new book in only two months. The original manuscript was named
"Use the Bible to Crack Open I Ching." To be consistent with our
six books, we talked to the author and he agreed to change the name
to the current one: "Cracking the End Time Code in I Ching with the
Bible: Does the Book of Change Contain Biblical Messages?" After
reading the manuscript of this book, we found that its perspective
is unique and its flow of thoughts is sound. It shows that the
author has a deep and wide understanding of the Bible and because
of this he has a better and special understanding of the ancient
Chinese book "I Ching" from a higher level than other views, past
and present. In a sense, this book confirms an important concept in
our original six books: Because Christians establish a very
personal relationship with God through the person of Jesus, they
not only recognize all laws in God's physical creation (the
Nature), they also view God as a person who fellowship with them on
daily basis. As for non-Christians, because they do not accept God
as a person, they only see God as natural laws, governing all
things. Through the publishing of this book, we believe that you
will find the laws and principles in the Bible are not in conflict
with those hidden in I Ching, rather they agree to each other in
many ways. Based on this objective comparison between the Bible and
I Ching, we believe that all will see the open heart of the Father:
He does not want even one to perish in this world but to be saved
through the only mediator, Jesus, and to receive the better
resurrection that is appointed for everyone.
Enter the transformational world of the Three Sisters of the Tao -
Chinese Medicine, I Ching and Feng Shui - with best-selling author
Terah Kathryn Collins as she chronicles their sagacious counsel on
how to sustain - or regain - the Way of the Heart. Terah's
provocative dialogues with each Sister draw you into the intimacy
of their inner circle, each conversation a journey into the essence
of a heart-centred life. Chinese Medicine restores tranquillity
with her calming presence; illuminates your vital connection with
Heaven and Earth; and opens new pathways of inspiration,
sensuality, and creativity. I Ching calls forth the full expression
of your true self, harmonises the union of your heart and mind, and
reveals the unseen world of loving help. Feng Shui imbues your
surroundings with rhythmic resonance, opening you to the living
symphony of sacred space - your abode within the greater matrix of
environmental harmony. Filled with helpful guidance and direction,
this enchanting book also includes 22 Essential Pearls,
meditations, and introspective activities inviting you to dive deep
into your true self; embrace your creative genius; and dance with
the Sisters on a path paved with serenity, kindness, and pleasure.
There is a timeless quality, easy to recognise. You can feel it.
The Tao, the Way, is permeated with love.
Sourced from common roots of ancient Chinese (I Ching) and
pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican tradition, this easy-to-use new resource
distils and updates ancient, archetypal lessons for motivation,
hope, and practical guidance in modern life-situations. Symbolic
indigenous images and lucid text energise, harmonise, and integrate
the inquirer's feminine and masculine natures -- providing an
accessible, refreshing alternative to the masculine/aristocratic
biases of previous I Chings. The new sequence of hexagrams is
specifically designed to help individuals cultivate wise inner
responses to circumstances beyond their control. For readers of
Toltec Wisdom that have responded so enthusiastically to books like
The Four Agreements and to the idea of spirit warriors as in Dan
Millman's Peaceful Warrior, this hands-on oracle will be a welcome
addition. In these uncertain times, it will be a helpful tool to
many seeking inner guidance and understanding.
For the Chinese, the destiny of each individual and the cosmos have
always been inextricably linked, and for two thousand years the
Yijing, or the Book of Change, has exercised the best minds in the
Orient. Richard Bertschinger, author of The Secret of Everlasting
Life (the first translation of The Can Tong Qi), has worked from
the classical commentaries to make a fresh and up-to-date
translation for the modern world. Marriage, business ventures,
journeys, military ventures, disputes, world affairs, personal
problems, health or money issues, all are grist for the mill of the
Book of Change. Through pondering the lines, studying their poetry,
and devoting ourselves to its meaning, the heart of the ancients is
clear. We pick up perhaps in a way we never could have conceived
of, how to guide and direct our lives. With an introduction that
explains the underlying structure and philosophy of the Book of
Change, as well as its history, and a detailed explanation of how
to throw the yarrow sticks, or the coins, the novice reader is
given everything they need to take their first steps in consulting
the ancient oracle, and those already familiar with established
translations will find this fresh translation from the original
texts clear and illuminating.
Wilhelm frequently wrote and lectured on the Book of Changes,
supplying guidelines to its ideas and ways of thinking. Collected
here are four lectures he gave between 1926 and 1929. The lectures
are significant not only for what they reveal about Chinese
tradition and culture, but also for their reflections of the
scholarly and cultural milieu prevalent in Germany during that
time. Originally published in 1979. The Princeton Legacy Library
uses the latest print-on-demand technology to again make available
previously out-of-print books from the distinguished backlist of
Princeton University Press. These editions preserve the original
texts of these important books while presenting them in durable
paperback and hardcover editions. The goal of the Princeton Legacy
Library is to vastly increase access to the rich scholarly heritage
found in the thousands of books published by Princeton University
Press since its founding in 1905.
