One fine, sunny day in Brooklyn, Rock-O the miniature schnauzer
takes his daily walk at 12:30 p.m. as his flower shop usual. But
today turns out to be very unusual indeed as Rock-O witnesses a mob
hit on Tom Terrier in. Telling Commander Rex Wrinkles everything he
saw, Rock-O suddenly becomes the key witness in the trial of Joey
Two Paws, chief muscle for the Bambino crime family. When Rock-O
points to Joey Two Paws as the killer, the courtroom erupts and the
murderous bulldog is sentenced to life in solitary confinement. As
he is led out, however, he ominously warns Rock-O that because he
barked on Joey, the Bambino Family will see to it that the little
schnauzer sleeps with the fishes. A wildly imaginative and
sharp-witted suspense thriller, Jerry Ferrara's debut is an
outrageously entertaining escapade that, in the mold of the classic
Bugs Bunny shorts, is as fun for adults as it is for kids. Knowing
Rock-O's life is in danger, the Doggie Bureau of Investigation
(DBI) swoops in and places him in the PPP (Puppy Protection
Program), sending him to Okeechobee, Florida to live his life in
peace and safety. But the Bambino family has its paws in
everything, and soon enough, Rock-O's whereabouts are known. They
send Vito and Carmine Bones and the Sambuca Brothers to Florida to
take care of business. As things escalate, a cast of characters
including Agent Jess, the International Counsel of K9's Sir Bassett
Hound, and Rock-O's hosts Jerry and Maureen come together to take
on the mob and try and save Rock-O in a no-holds barred fight to
the finish An enchanting, spirited, and raucous crime spree across
canine lines, Ferrara presents a noir-inspired adventure full of
tension and out-and-out fun. As thrilling as it is riotously funny,
