clade of Histerini in the Americas. The author provides the first
comprehensive revision of these species, including keys for
identification, complete distributional data, illustrations of
diagnostic characters, and a detailed phylogenetic analysis. He
uses the phylogeny to examine the evolution of several biological
characteristics, with particular emphasis on myrmecophily.
