First in a series of four videos chronicling the history of the BRM
racing car. Conceived by Raymond Mays and Peter Berthon as a
British Grand Prix car capable of beating Italian and German
rivals, the BRM V16 was not a success on its 1950 Silverstone
debut, but nevertheless won admirers the world over. Contributors
include Froilan Gonzalez and Stirling Moss.
