Investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre directs this documentary
examining how football hooliganism, once a very British disease,
has gone global. With football violence having been brought
successfully under control in Britain since its heyday in the 1970s
and 1980s, there has recently been a worrying rise in violence in
Europe, South America, and the United States. In graphic detail
this film charts the history of hooliganism both home and abroad,
examines the motivation behind those involved, and asks what does
the future hold for the hooligan?
Documentary about some of the world's most notorious weapons
including the Colt 45 which was invented by gun designer John Moses
Browning and battle rifles such as the black powder musket, the
Bolt Action breech-loader and the semi-automatic M1 Garand.
All six episodes of the documentary series that dramatises airborne
combat missions and tells the stories of the expert fighter pilots
involved. The programme features aircraft including Spitfires,
Lancaster bombers and Phantom fighters as well as interviews with
their surviving veteran pilots and insights from military
historians. The episodes are: 'Douglas Bader', 'George Beurling',
'Wingwalker', 'The Tuskegee Airmen', 'Robin Olds' and 'Gabby
Gabreski'.
All ten episodes from the fifth season of the aviation documentary
that examines real-life air disasters. Featuring interviews with
aviation experts, crash witnesses and flight data, the programme
uses dramatic reconstructions to accurately recreate a series of
ill-fated flights. This series examines disasters including Delta
Air Lines Flight 191, Air Canada Flight 143 and Turkish Airlines
Flight 981. The episodes are: 'Invisible Killer', 'Gimli Glider',
'Behind Closed Doors', 'Fanning the Flames', 'Dead Weight',
'Southern Storm', 'Air India: Explosive Evidence', 'Mixed Signals',
'Fatal Distracton' and 'Phantom Strike'.
All twelve episodes from the first two series of Yesterday's
historical series in which presenter Jamie Theakston explores great
myths, conspiracies and ancient sites. In this instalment, Jamie's
investigations take him to exotic locations across the globe
including Jerusalem, New York and the archaeological city of Petra.
Series 1 episodes are: 'The Lost Treasure of the Templars', 'The
Third Secret of Fatima', 'The Bloodline of Christ', 'The Mystery of
the Giants', 'The Treasure of Solomon' and 'The Secrets of the

programme examines the skeletal remains of humans who lived during
the Middle Ages and, using archaeological science, creates dramatic
reconstructions of true stories from the era. The episodes are:

Defenders of Masterby', 'Richard III's Lost Chapel', 'Disease and
Pestilence' and 'Agincourt - The Hidden Dead'.
A tribute to the late king of soul, Ray Charles, featuring
performances by contemporary artists including Elton John, Stevie
Wonder, Al Green and Mary J. Blige.

in the 1920s. The collection comprises 12 short films which look at
the diversity of the capital city while including shots of famous
landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Tower of

conflict and attempts to find a way forward. Israeli Liat Aaronson
and Palestinian Hanan Kattan made use of the TED conference to
interview a number of leading female thinkers from the warring
nations about the conflict. The film makers were particularly
intrigued by those who suggested a way forward that didn't involve
grandiose political gestures but, rather, involved helping ordinary
people on both sides continue to live their lives and to work for
reconciliation through respect and tolerance.

Lauded 1936 documentary, showing the various stages and procedures
of the operation of the Royal Mail train delivery service, that
remains one of the most instantly recognised films in British film
history.
It begins with a voiceover commentary describing how the
mail is collected for transit. Then, as the train proceeds along
the course of its journey, we are shown the various regional
railway stations at which it collects and deposits its cargo.
Inside the train the process of sorting takes place.
As it nears
its destination there is a sequence - the best known in the film -
in which WH Auden's spoken verse and Benjamin Britten's music are
combined over montage images of racing train wheels.
