Max Beesley narrates this three-part documentary series following
the residents and staff of the stately Chatsworth House in
Derbyshire, England, during 2011. With spring approaching, the
programme captures Peregrine Cavendish, 12th Duke of Devonshire,
and his family at work as they prepare to open their home to the
public with the assistance of some 700 employees. The footage also
looks at two events held on the estate - the Chatsworth
International Horse Trials and the third annual Chatsworth flower
festival - and follows the progress of a multi-million pound
renovation.
