Documentary that sets out to tell the story behind the making of the James Bond films. When American producers Harry Saltzman and Albert Broccoli acquired the rights to adapt Ian Fleming's 'James Bond' novels for the big screen they couldn't have dreamt of the success they would find. However, as the franchise became a licence to print money conflict inevitably emerged, causing Saltzman and Broccoli to fall out with their lead actor, Sean Connery, then each other.

Despite the increasingly fraught drama behind the scenes, the on-screen drama of the Bond films has continued to draw audiences to the cinema 50 years after the release of the first film, 'Dr No' (1962). Alex Gibney directs this documentary exploring the controversial career of American cyclist Lance Armstrong. Gibney followed Armstrong, a seven-time Tour de France champion, on his return to racing in 2009. Armstrong's goal in returning was to defy persistent allegations that his past victories were in part due to doping, but in 2012 he was handed a lifetime ban from cycling after being found guilty of taking performance-enhancing drugs, something he finally admitted in 2013. The documentary includes interviews with Armstrong, who offers his side of the story, as well as contributions from cycling contemporaries and those who follow the sport.
