The HEPA filter needs to be replaced after about 9 months, however, you CAN NOT find the filter anywhere South Africa. TAURUS SA says that it "might" takes months to arrive, but it is more likely that they won't have anymore filter to sell as there is a new model soon. So if you buy it, you will end up with a machine that the HEPA function doesn't work. Wish I knew that before I bought it.
