motion About the Author: Yaffa Liebermann, PT, GCS, CEO of Prime
Rehabilitation Services, Inc. has 42 years of clinical experience
and she is a certified Neuro-Developmental Therapist (NDT) in adult
Hemiplegia. She found her love and passion working with the elderly
in the nursing home environment. Shes a Geriatric Clinical
Specialist (GCS), board certified by the American Physical Therapy
Association (APTA). She lectures to therapists, nurses, caregivers,
and family members on ways to improve care for patients. Ms.
Liebermann hopes to educate people about how patients can breathe
better and perform movements in a safe and correct wayso they can
prevent future injuries and carry their bodies in a healthy and
beautiful way. About the Illustrator: Katie Soko is Ph.D. candidate
in the neurotoxicology program at Rutgers/UMDNJ-RWJMS. From a young
age she was constantly drawing and redrawing the body and imagining
the movement of the muscles and bones under their skin. About the
Editor: Alison Cohen is a highly talented and versatile editor of
