CBD Tarot: The most inspired and beautiful faithfully restored Marseille Conver Deck

The CBD cards are a careful restoration of the 1760 Conver deck in bright modern colour and print that conforms to several existing original Conver decks. Restored by Dr Yoav Ben Dov, for reasons of teaching and self mastery, these cards are the TdM that inspires happiness and a sense of spiritual resonance. In my opinion, of restored decks, this is the most inspired. It is up there in beauty with Houdin's millennial TdM, itself the best 'corrected' deck in my view. The light blue used shows a Jodorowsky influence, but the CBD simply works much better for me. The box for the US games edition is a little flimsy, but any serious user would rapidly provide their own. The card stock is the best for shuffling that I have yet come across, cards are robust and slide easily over one another. (Do not riffle shuffle, cards can crease.) The lwb is very well written by Yoav Ben Dov, and is an introduction to the book for which these cards were created, The Open Reading (Republished as The Marseille Tarot Revealed by Llewellyn). The lwb and card images, including cards in outline only, can be found on Yoav Ben Dov's website (www.cbdtarot.com), should you want to further consider your purchase. I highly recommend this deck to anyone wanting a beautiful and positively resonating deck in the French (Marseille type) tradition for contemplative use.
