The Art of Fine Gifts: The tarot cards in this pack are adapted
from a Tarot of Marseille deck by Nicolas Conver that dates to
1760. It was one of the earliest confirmed decks and has been
beautifully reproduced here. The Major and Minor Arcana cards are
accompanied by an informative booklet, which gives a history of
tarot, information on each card and a step-by-step guide to get
started with a tarot reading.
The Light in the Dark Tarot is designed to encourage the reader through
dark times, sparking a warm glow within.
Consisting of 78 beautifully illustrated cards covering the major and
minor arcana, the deck is packed with rituals and actions to guide the
reader through difficulty and help them make positive next steps. Each
card can be used either as a tarot or an oracle card, with their
meanings offering comfort, encouragement and reassurance.
Prayer-like in its design, with solace and warmth at its heart, The
Light in the Dark Tarot will be the perfect antidote to life’s
challenges, helping you channel your inner power and strength.
The Original Golden Dawn tarot cards with their correct esoteric
designs and colouring The Magical Tarot of the Golden Dawn
Deck comprises 78 fully illustrated tarot cards and an
instruction booklet, based on the Hermetic Order Golden Dawn tarot
lectures. The colouring used in this Golden Dawn/Stella Matutina
tarot deck is unique and is based on the four sets of Golden Dawn
colour scales. A comparative study between the current
Regardie/Wang deck and the classic Magical Tarot of the
Golden Dawn Deck will reveal a large difference in the
colouring, especially in the in the minor arcana, where the Wang
deck does not use the four colour scales. This coloured deck of
tarot cards is intended as a companion to The Magical Tarot
of the Golden Dawn book.
Divining with Achi and Tara is a book on Tibetan methods of
prognostics with dice and prayer beads (mala). Jan-Ulrich Sobisch
offers a thorough discussion of Chinese, Indian, Turkic, and
Tibetan traditions of divination, its techniques, rituals, tools,
and poetic language. Interviews with Tibetan masters of divination
introduce the main part with a translation of a dice divination
manual of the deity Achi that is still part of a living tradition.
Solvej Nielsen contributes further interviews, a mala divination of
Tara and its oral tradition, and very useful glossaries of the
terminology of Tibetan divination and fortune telling. Appendices
provide lists of deities and spirits and of numerous identified
ritual remedies and supports that are an essential element of a
still vibrant Tibetan culture.
