Gettysburg-Site of the epic battle that forever changed the
United States. Some also say it is the most haunted place on
earth.
In "Ghosts at Gettysburg," the third Oliver Family Adventure,
the Oliver family visits Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, site of the
three-day battle. While Tyler and Tommy participate in a
re-enactment, learning about the battle and those that fought it,
their sister Paige and mother Judy reluctantly learn of the town's
haunted history through frightening encounters of their own.
On their very first evening there they see pictures of glowing
orbs on the battlefield and meet a mysterious woman who seems to be
everywhere. While Tommy marches with Confederate troops and Tyler
helps man the cannons atop Cemetery Ridge, the Oliver women
encounter the ghosts of a grieving father and a sad young soldier,
forcing them to rethink their ideas about ghosts, spirits and
hauntings.
When the battle reaches its climax at Pickett's Charge the boys
find themselves on opposite sides of that bloody clash. There they
learn what it was to be a soldier in the American Civil War.

Dear possible reader of this book,
My editor asked me to write a third book in my series, "Tales from
the House of Bunnicula." And did I have trouble getting started I
was afraid I used up all my ideas. But faster than a writer can say
"What if?" I came up with a story It's about a lovable and smart
(not to mention cute) orphan wirehaired dachshund puppy named
Howie, who has a mysterious pain in his leg and is mysteriously
invited to attend the Dogwiz Academy for Canine Conjurers.
Together, Howie and his best friend, the very, very, very smart
Delilah, who speaks in a British accent in this book for some
reason, discover they must fight a sinister
foe...The-Evil-Force-Whose-Nam-C'not-Be-Spoke
Your friend,
Howie

The Hollow sisters - Vivi, Grey and Iris - are as seductively glamorous
as they are mysterious. They have black eyes and hair as white as milk.
The Hollow sisters don't have friends - they don't need them. They move
through the corridors like sharks, the other little fish parting around
them, whispering behind their backs.
And everyone knows who the Hollow sisters are. Because one day the
three Hollow sisters simply disappeared. And when they came back, one
month later, with no memory of where they had been, it was as if
nothing had changed. Almost nothing, Apart from, for example, the
little scar that had appeared in the hollow of their throats ... and a
whispering sense that something is not quite right about them, despite
(or maybe because of) the terrible passion to be with them that they
can exert on anybody at will...
A thrilling, twisting, novel that is as seductive and glamorous as the
Hollow sisters themselves....

Charles Dickens is probably the best-known and, to many people, the
greatest English novelist of the nineteenth century. Since its
publication in 1843, "A Christmas Carol" has been adapted for film,
television, and the stage, proving that Dickens's characters and
themes continue to captivate generation after generation.
When Carl visits the Peak District with his parents to try and
recover from the fallout of a horrific accident, he becomes caught
up in the mysterious tale of the Lost Lad. Are the hills actually
haunted or is Carl being chased by his own demons? As past and
present collide, Carl must learn to come to terms with the loss of
his best friend, Jack and find a way to move on. Illustrated by
Tamsin Rosewell.
In Belladonna Johnson's world, talking to ghosts seems perfectly
normal. She even lives with two - her recently deceased parents,
who are still very much involved with their daughter's life. But
then the ghosts start disappearing. Before her father slips away,
he warns her that the doors are closing, but Belladonna doesn't
understand what he means. She realises, though, that evil forces
are at work, and if she can't stop them, she might lose everything.
With her friend Steve, she sets off on a trip that will test them
to their limits, as they discover the dark secrets that lurk on the
Other Side.
